Freeman went 3-for-5 with a double, a stolen base, two runs scored and an RBI in Saturday's win over the Brewers.

The Braves laid into Milwaukee pitching for 11 runs on 20 hits Saturday, and Freeman got his fair share of the action. He has more multi-hit games (eight) than hitless performances (five) so far this season, and his .383/.485/.778 slash line has been buoyed by a stellar 16:16 BB:K through 22 games. He also has four steals already, putting him just two shy of last year's career high and giving Freeman a little extra fantasy value.

Cabrera is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

It appears Cabrera is just receiving a day of rest for Sunday's matinee against the Nationals. Jose Reyes is taking over at shortstop. Expect Cabrera to be back in the lineup Monday against the Braves.

Naylor was removed from Saturday's game with High-A Lake Elsinore after being hit in the face by a thrown ball, Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

According to eyewitnesses, the young Canadian didn't see a pickoff throw coming and ultimately took the throw right off his face. He was removed from the game immediately, although it's unclear how severe the injury is or if he'll miss any time due to this. Consider him day-to-day until more details emerge. Prior to this incident, Naylor was batting .305 with five home runs and 22 RBI in 22 games.

Rizzo went 1-for-2 with a two-run homer during Saturday's win over Boston.

The blast was Rizzo's fifth in eight games, and it also pulled the Cubs within a run of the Red Sox in the top of the fourth inning. The first baseman is up to 15 runs, six home runs, 17 RBI, four stolen bases and a .269/.382/.516 slash line. While that's a juicy five-category return, any contribution in stolen bases should probably be viewed as a bonus going forward.

Joseph is not in the starting lineup Saturday against the Dodgers, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.

Brock Stassi gets the start at first base for the third time in five days, suggesting Joseph could be in line for a diminished role moving forward. The 25-year-old is hitting just .190 with one home run this season and has proven to be a black hole in the middle of the lineup, so he may need to improve quickly to remain a regular in the Phillies' lineup.

Flores (knee) is close to being ready to begin a rehab assignment, Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports reports.

Flores first went down on April 21 when he had to spend a night in the hospital due to an infection in his knee, resulting in a trip to the 10-day DL. If he can get back on the field rehabbing soon, the Mets will be hoping to have him back by early May.

Goldschmidt recorded three hits in four at-bats and provided three RBI, one run and one stolen base in Wednesday's 8-5 loss to the Padres.

It was a history-making day for the sizzling Goldschmidt, who has terrorized the Padres during the four-game series. He tied a Diamondbacks record by reaching base in nine consecutive plate appearances spanning the last two contests and became the third National League player since the beginning of the 2014 season to record multiple RBI in five consecutive starts. His .459 on-base percentage for the season ranks fifth in the majors among qualifying players.

Joseph is not in the Phillies' lineup Thursday against the Marlins, Ryan Lawrence of The Philly Voice reports.

The first sacker went 1-for-4 Wednesday in his first game since April 22, likely an effort to try to turn his scuffling season around with an extended rest. Joseph, however, will have to wait for a chance to build on that. Brock Stassi occupies first base and hits seventh Thursday.

Bell went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Cubs.

His sixth-inning blast off Jon Lester, Bell's third homer of the season, proved to be crucial after the Cubs staged a rally in the eighth that brought them to within one run. The switch-hitting first baseman's hit all three of his home runs within the last week, slashing .316/.435/.789 during that stretch, but hitting in the bottom third of the order has limited him to only six RBI in 21 games. With Pittsburgh looking for offense, expect Bell to work his way into a more productive spot in the lineup if he stays locked in.

Rizzo went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Wednesday's 6-5 loss to the Pirates.

His two-run shot off Daniel Hudson in the eighth inning brought the Cubs to within one, but they weren't able to complete the comeback. Rizzo now has five homers on the season -- four of which have come in his last six games -- and a strong 12:12 BB:K through 21 games has him on pace for a career-high .400 OBP.
