  • Matt Beaty 1B | KC

Padres' Matt Beaty: Moves to 60-day IL

Beaty (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Friday.

However, his rehab assignment was paused in early June, and he'll now be ineligible to return until at least early July. • LaMonte Wade LF | HOU

Giants' LaMonte Wade: Starting rehab assignment

Wade (knee) will start a rehab assignment this weekend, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Inflammation and a bone bruise on his left knee sidelined Wade to start the season, and then he went back on the injured list with knee inflammation May 20. He recently was slowed in his recovery due to hamstring tightness. Once Wade is activated, he will likely be used primarily against right-handed pitching.

Solano (hamstring) could return from the 60-day injured list as early as Tuesday against the Dodgers, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Solano began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Louisville in early June and has slashed .333/.375/.476 with three doubles, two RBI and a run over seven games. The 34-year-old will presumably continue to appear in minor-league games this weekend prior to rejoining the Reds early next week.

Bell went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's 10-1 loss to the Phillies.

Bell prevented the Nationals from getting shut out with his fourth-inning homer. He snapped an 0-for-11 skid at the plate with his two-hit effort Thursday. The 29-year-old has maintained a steady .294/.370/.447 slash line with eight homers, 39 RBI, 33 runs scored and 10 doubles across 65 contests while routinely hitting in the middle of the order.

  • Padres' Jake Cronenworth: Third straight three-hit game

Cronenworth went 3-for-6 with two doubles, two runs and two RBI in the Padres' 19-5 win over the Cubs on Wednesday.

Cronenworth has been a terror for the Cubs in the first three games of the series in Chicago, recording exactly three hits in each contest. He entered the series maintaining a .221 batting average for the season, but his 9-for-14 start to the week has lifted that mark to .245. Cronenworth will be in the lineup again for Thursday's series finale, batting second and manning the keystone, according to Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune.

He hasn't homered in that stretch but has maintained a .310 average with two RBI and four runs scored. Cron has gone yard 14 times to go along with 43 RBI and 36 runs scored while hitting .289 across 268 plate appearances on the season.

The 31-year-old has been hot over his last four games, going 7-for-19 with three home runs and three doubles, though the walk was his first since June 1. Voit is now slashing .237/.318/.432 with eight home runs, 24 runs and 28 RBI.

  • Rowdy Tellez 1B | ATL

Brewers' Rowdy Tellez: Not in Wednesday's lineup

Tellez isn't starting Wednesday's game against the Mets.

Tellez will get a rare day off after he went 1-for-13 with an RBI, two walks and two strikeouts over the last four games. Keston Hiura is starting at first base and batting sixth.

  • Garrett Cooper 1B | ATL

Marlins' Garrett Cooper: Riding pine Wednesday

Cooper isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Phillies, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
