Polanco (Achilles) has been taking live at-bats at the Mets' spring training complex at St. Lucie and could begin a rehab assignment soon, Tim Britton of The Athletic reports.

The veteran infielder has been out since mid-April due to a wrist contusion and and Achilles soreness, but it's the latter issue that has kept him on the shelf. Pain management remains the biggest hurdle for Polanco to clear before he can return to game action, but if he's able to begin a rehab stint this week and avoid a setback, he could be back in the big-league lineup in early June.

Horwitz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Horwitz went yard on the first pitch of the game, tallying his fifth homer of the season. He served as Pittsburgh's leadoff hitter for the second time this season, displacing Oneil Cruz. Horwitz has been solid in May, tallying two home runs, 13 RBI and seven runs scored while hitting .306 across 19 games.

France went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Athletics.

France blasted an opposite-field solo shot in the seventh inning to cut into the deficit, though the Padres were unable to rally for a victory. Sunday marked France's seventh multi-hit effort across 32 appearances in 2026. He hasn't been a staple of San Diego's everyday lineup, but the veteran infielder has been productive when called upon, slashing .279/.311/.535 with five homers, three doubles, two triples, 16 RBI, 10 runs and a stolen base across 90 plate appearances.

Devers went 2-for-4 with a grand slam and an RBI double during the Giants' 8-5 win over the White Sox on Sunday.

Devers opened things up with an RBI double in the first inning, but his biggest contribution came in the fifth, when he smacked a grand slam off Grant Taylor to give the Giants an 8-4 lead. Devers struggled to a .537 OPS through the first 31 games of the regular season but has been much better at the place since May 1, posting a .935 OPS with five home runs, nine doubles and 14 RBI in 90 plate appearances this month.

Busch went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk during the Cubs' 8-5 loss to the Astros on Sunday.

Busch entered Sunday's game having one 0-for-13 with five strikeouts over his last four games, but he broke out of that slump in a big way with a two-run homer in the seventh inning to reduce the Cubs' deficit to 7-5. It was the fifth home run of the season for Busch, though he's well behind pace to match the 34 homers that he logged in the 2025 regular season. He is slashing .230/.360/.380 with one steal, 29 RBI and 21 runs scored across 228 plate appearances this season.

The Marlins announced that Norby was removed ahead of the sixth inning of Sunday's 4-0 win over the Mets due to left elbow discomfort, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports. He went 0-for-1 at the plate prior to his departure.

After being struck in the left elbow by a pitch in the bottom of the fourth, Norby took his base and played an inning in the field before the Marlins opted to pull him from the contest. X-rays appear to have ruled out any structural damage to Norby's elbow, but he could be dealing with enough soreness and swelling that the Marlins opt to hold him out of the lineup for Monday's series opener in Toronto.

Norby went 0-for-1 before leaving Sunday's game against the Mets in the top of the sixth inning after being hit near his left elbow by a pitch earlier in the contest, Kevin Barral of FishonFirst.com reports.

Norby was in obvious discomfort after being plunked, but he took his base and proceeded to play an inning at first base before he was replaced by Graham Pauley to begin the sixth. The Marlins will evaluate Norby further before providing additional word on his status heading into the club's three-game series in Toronto that begins Monday.

Rumfield went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Rumfield's blast got the Rockies within a run in the eighth inning, but they failed to tie the game. The first baseman has gone 14-for-36 (.389) with two homers and six RBI over his last 11 games, and he's added a 5:4 BB:K in that span as his plate discipline continues to trend up. Rumfield is hitting .289 with an .819 OPS, seven homers, 27 RBI, 22 runs scored, nine doubles, one triple and no stolen bases over his first 52 games in the majors.

Harper went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Guardians.

The Phillies managed just seven hits in total, but after flying out in the first inning, Harper made himself a consistent nuisance on the basepaths for Cleveland pitching, although he was caught stealing in the seventh. It was the slugging first baseman's fourth game in May with three or more hits, and on the month Harper is batting .297 (22-for-74) with four doubles, six homers, three steals, 12 RBI and 15 runs in 21 contests.

Freeman went 1-for-1 with a double, four walks, three runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 11-3 win over the Brewers.

Freeman was a thorn in the Brewers' side all game, reaching base in all five plate appearances while drawing a season-high four walks. He's now swiped both of his bases this season over his past nine games, a stretch that includes five hitless efforts but also five extra-base hits and seven runs scored. For the season, the first baseman is slashing .265/.362/.449 with six homers, 23 RBI, 22 runs scored and two steals across 213 plate appearances.
