Asdrubal Cabrera out roughly 3-4 weeks
Indians shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera is expected to miss roughly 3-4 weeks with a quadriceps injury, manager Terry Francona told The Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Francona stressed the roughness of his medical staff's guess. Quadriceps strains like Cabrera's can be difficult to predict, and as Francona said, "he'll heal when he heals." Still, 3-4 weeks would be consistent with similar injuries, so it will serve as a best guess until Cabrera gets deeper into the healing process. -
