O'Hearn went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-4 extra-inning loss to the Twins.

He pulverized a Jose Berrios fastball to right-center field in the sixth inning for a 429-foot homer, O'Hearn's first of the year. After O'Hearn slugged 12 home runs in 44 games in his first taste of the majors last season, the Royals are expecting the 25-year-old to become one of their primary power sources in 2019.

Cabrera went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Tuesday against the Astros.

Cabrera took Justin Verlander deep in the second inning for his third home run of the season. He's taken a liking to his new home park early on, something that should continue to benefit him as the season wears on. The 27-year-old expects to play in Wednesday's series finale, but it remains to be seen whether the team opts to give him a day off anyway.

Diaz was pulled from Tuesday's game against the Rockies after tweaking his ankle, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

It remains unclear when exactly Diaz sustained the injury, but manager Kevin Cash indicated they believe it to be a minor issue. The 27-year-old will be out of the lineup for Wednesday's series finale and will have a couple days to rest up with Thursday's scheduled off day.

Diaz left Tuesday's game against the Rockies with an apparent leg injury, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.

Diaz hit a double during the eighth inning and limped into second base, but he may have actually sustained the injury earlier in the game. Ji-Man Choi entered as a pinch runner and should remain in the game at first base, while the specifics of Diaz's injury are currently unclear.

Olson (hand) had his soft cast and stitches removed and said he feels good Tuesday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

He was in good spirits, apparently firing up shots with a nerf basketball in the clubhouse using his surgically repaired right hand. Per the original timetable, Olson is roughly 5-to-7 weeks away from resuming normal activity -- it is largely a matter of pain tolerance.

With an everyday job locked in and solid upside, Diaz's value should remain robust across all formats as the season unfolds.

Guerrera (oblique) has been taking at-bats in extended spring training games and looks good, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Guerrero is working his way back from an oblique strain, but it doesn't appear as though he'll miss much time. He's expected to spend a couple weeks in the minors as the Blue Jays wait to promote him until they secure an extra year of team control.

Moutncastle, who is opening at Triple-A Norfolk, will see significant time at first base this season, Joe Trezza of MLB.com reports.

He hit .297/.341/.464 with 13 home runs and a 121 wRC+ in 102 games at Double-A last year, so the assignment to Triple-A makes sense. Mountcastle's defense (particularly his below-average throwing arm) has always been his biggest weakness, so the transition to first base also makes sense. He could reach the majors this summer.

Kirilloff (wrist) will open the year on the injured list at Double-A Pensacola, Sam Dykstra of MiLB.com reports.

He sustained the injury late in spring training, but is expected to return to the field sometime in April. Kirilloff is expected to start seeing time at first base this year -- a sensible solution to a perceived logjam on the organizational outfield depth chart.
