Olson went 2-for-4 with an RBI single, a double and a walk in a loss to the Angels on Wednesday.
Olson's first multi-hit effort since May 22 snapped an 0-for-15 skid that had encompassed his previous four contests. The slugging first baseman had gotten his average up to .238 as recently as May 29, but the aforementioned multi-game slide had prompted a 36-point tumble prior to Wednesday's production.

White Sox's Jose Abreu: Hits 16th homer
Abreu went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 6-4 loss to the Nationals on Wednesday.
After hitting two long balls in late March to begin the year, the homers dried up for Abreu in April. He hit just three in that month, but he exploded for 10 in May and just smashed his first of June. Abreu has 11 homers in his last 131 at-bats. He isn't walking a lot, but his slugging percentage is a healthy .521, giving him an .822 OPS,. Overall, Abreu is batting .254 with 16 home runs, 52 RBI and 30 runs in 240 at-bats this season.

Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero Jr.: Crushes clutch three-run homer
Guerrero went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, a walk and three runs scored overall in Wednesday's 11-7 win over the Yankees.
Guerrero came up huge in the eighth inning, clubbing a 434-foot, three-run round tripper to center field to give the Blue Jays a 9-7 lead. The 20-year-old is slashing .256/.326/.472 with seven homers through his first 33 major-league games.

Astros' Yuli Gurriel: Day off Wednesday
Gurriel is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game at Seattle, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Gurriel split starts between first and third base over the last 12 games, but he will head to the bench after slashing .224/.235/.286 in that stretch. Tyler White will start at first base and bat fifth with Mike Leake taking the mound for the Mariners.

Blue Jays' Rowdy Tellez: Back on bench
Tellez is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Yankees.
After missing a pair of games over the weekend due to a minor hamstring issue, Tellez returned for Tuesday's series opener and went 1-for-4. The 24-year-old will head back to the bench Wednesday as the Blue Jays look to ease him back into action, with Vladimir Guerrero getting the nod at DH in his place.

Royals' Ryan O'Hearn: Remains out Wednesday
O'Hearn is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Red Sox.
O'Hearn will stick on the bench for a second straight game with the Red Sox trotting out another lefty starter in Chris Sale. Cheslor Cuthbert will once again start at first base in place of O'Hearn, with Kelvin Gutierrez getting the nod at third base.

Cabrera went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 12-11 loss to the Orioles.
Cabrera had been floundering, hitting just .217 as recently as a week ago. However, he's put together a nice run since. Cabrera is now 10-for-24 (.417) with six RBI and five runs scored over the last seven games, raising his average to .244 in the process.

Twins' C.J. Cron: Bows out of starting nine
Cron isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Indians.
Cron will head to the bench after going 0-for-12 over his last three starts. Marwin Gonzalez gets the nod at first base and is hitting sixth with Cron out of the mix.

Blue Jays' Rowdy Tellez: Returns to starting nine
Tellez (hamstring) will serve as the designated hitter and bat fourth Tuesday against the Yankees.
Tellez missed two consecutive contests due to hamstring soreness, but following a day off, he's back in action for the series opener. He's just 2-for-23 with seven strikeouts over his last eight games, so he'll aim to get back on track at the dish following a brief absence.
