Beaty is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

The lefty-hitting Beaty is on the bench for the third straight game, with two of those absences having come against right-handed starting pitchers. Beaty had a brief run as a strong-side platoon player at first base to close out August, but the Royals appear to have instead opted for a committee approach to the position.

France (elbow) went 1-for-4 with a run in a loss to the Reds on Monday.

France was able to draw the start at first base after a day off Sunday to rest his sore elbow following a hit-by-pitch Saturday. The veteran didn't appear any worse for wear from his MLB-high 29th plunking of the season, but his extra-base-hit drought continued -- France last reached safely with anything more than a single 12 games ago via a double Aug. 21 against the White Sox.

Casas went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in Monday's win over Tampa Bay.

Casas put the Red Sox on top with his three-run shot in the sixth inning and later added an RBI single. After a bit of a cold spell for most of August, his bat is getting hot again. Over his last 10 games, Casas has gone 15-for-34 (.441) with three homers, 10 RBI and a 6:7 BB:K. For the season, his slash line is up to .268/.368/.503 with 45 extra-base hits and 59 RBI through 123 games.

O'Hearn is not in Monday's lineup against the Angels.

O'Hearn is hitting .316 with one home run, five runs and nine RBI over his last 10 games. As is typically the case, he'll hit the bench with lefty Kenny Rosenberg starting for the Angels.

Diaz is not in the lineup for Monday's game versus the Red Sox, Kristie Ackert of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

It looks to be a routine day off for Diaz. Jonathan Aranda will be filling in at first base and Josh Lowe has been elevated to the leadoff spot.

France (elbow) is starting at first base and batting sixth Monday versus the Reds in his return to the lineup, Shannon Drayer of Seattle Sports 710 AM reports.

He didn't play Sunday after exiting Saturday's contest following a hit-by-pitch on the right elbow but is ready to roll for Monday's festivities. August was France's best offensive month this season, but he comes into action Monday with just a .602 OPS over his last 10 games.

Noda went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and an additional run in a win over the Angels on Sunday.

Noda ignited the Athletics' rally from a 3-0 deficit in the sixth inning with a 406-foot shot to center and Zack Gelof aboard. The rookie has now hit safely in four straight games, and he boasts a .310 average and .942 OPS overall across the 13 contests he's suited up for since returning from a stint on the injured list due to a fractured jaw.

Torkelson went 1-for-4 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's 3-2 win over the White Sox.

It was a 2-2 game until the top of the seventh inning, when Torkelson blasted his 25th home run of the season. It's a big step forward for the youngster, who hit just eight home runs as a rookie last year. Torkelson has been better across the board in his sophomore campaign with a .230/.317/.441 slash line compared to .203/.285/.319 in 2022.

Lowe went 1-for-3 with two walks and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-5 win over Minnesota.

Lowe was successful on his only attempted steal of the season. He swiped eight bags two seasons ago for Texas, but the first baseman typically doesn't produce in that category.

Guerrero went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 7-5 win over the Rockies.

Guerrero's 21st home run came in the third and provided the Blue Jays with their initial run of the contest. He later just missed another home run by rocketing a single off the left-field wall in the fifth to drive in another run. Guerrero has now hit safely in 13 of his last 14 games, batting .283 with three homers, 10 RBI and nine runs over that stretch. He is slashing .266/.341/.439 on the season over 583 plate appearances.
