  • Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Keeps Mammoth in check in Game 1

Hart stopped 32 of 34 shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Mammoth in Game 1. Hart has yet to lose since returning from a lower-body injury that cost him more than two months of games. The 27-year-old's winning ways have given him the No. 1 job between the pipes for Vegas to begin the postseason, which has a Stanley Cup champion on the roster in Adin Hill should Hart falter. This is just the second time Hart has gotten into the playoffs -- he went 9-5 with a 2.23 GAA and a .926 save percentage in 14 games for the Flyers in the bubble in 2020.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Lets lead slip away

Hill stopped 30 of 33 shots in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Kraken. Hill had a 3-1 goal lead to protect early in the third period, but it didn't make it to the midway mark of the frame. He then allowed two goals on five shootout attempts to complete the collapse. Hill has gone 1-0-3 with 13 goals allowed over his last four contests, and this blown lead won't help his case for more playing time. He's at a 10-9-6 record with a 3.04 GAA and an .871 save percentage over 27 appearances this season. Expect Carter Hart to get the nod in Saturday's road game versus the Avalanche.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Facing Kraken

Hill will guard the visiting cage in Seattle on Thursday, according to Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Hill will make his first start in four games, as new head coach John Tortorella has used Carter Hart in the last week. Hill has struggled this season, posting a 10-9-5 mark with a 3.06 GAA and an .868 save percentage in 26 appearances this season. The Kraken are 26th in NHL scoring, averaging 2.77 goals per game.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Earns win over Canucks

Hill stopped 22 of 24 shots in Monday's 4-2 win over the Canucks. Hill was coming off three straight losses, and although only one of those came in regulation, he was still in dire need of a win. He took advantage of a favorable matchup in this one and also posted a save percentage over .900 for the first time since March 17. Hill remains the starting goaltender for the Golden Knights, and his status as the No. 1 option isn't in jeopardy, but the team's defensive woes in recent weeks have conspired against his fantasy upside. He's gone 5-6-2 in 13 appearances since the beginning of March, posting a 2.79 GAA and an .872 save percentage on 265 shots faced in that span.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Set to face Vancouver

Hill will patrol the home blue paint against the Canucks on Monday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports. Hill has dropped back-to-back games in overtime, and he has just one win in his last six outings. The 29-year-old has conceded 17 goals on 112 shots (.848 save percentage) while going 1-3-2 during that time. The Golden Knights should have plenty of motivation to put forth a strong effort Monday, as it will be their first game playing in front of new bench boss John Tortorella. The Canucks, for their part, have lost five games in a row.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Tending twine Saturday

Hill will protect the home goal versus the Capitals on Saturday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports. Hill has been a little unlucky lately, going 3-5-1 despite a 2.48 GAA and .884 save percentage over his last nine games. The 29-year-old rarely faces a lot of shots behind Vegas' stingy defense, but the results haven't been going his way much lately. The Capitals have scored 17 goals over their last six games, going 3-1-2 in that span.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Loses to Oilers in overtime

Hill stopped 25 of 29 shots in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Oilers. This was the first time in 10 outings where Hill allowed more than three goals. He's made good progress in that area, but he's still just 4-5-1 in that span. Hill is 9-9-4 with a 3.07 GAA and an .868 save percentage over 24 appearances this season. While he's not getting stellar results, the Golden Knights don't have anyone better, so expect the 29-year-old to continue operating in the starting role. The Golden Knights host the Capitals on Saturday.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Starting versus Edmonton

Hill will defend the home crease versus Edmonton on Thursday, according to Mark Spector of Sportsnet, Hill has not played well since the NHL returned to action following the Olympic break. He is 5-6-0 with a 2.78 GAA and an .867 save percentage across 11 starts. Overall, he is 9-9-3 with a 3.03 GAA and an .868 save percentage over 23 appearances this season. The Oilers are tied for fifth in NHL scoring, generating 3.47 goals per game.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Falls short against Jets

Hill allowed three goals on 20 shots in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Jets. The fourth goal was an empty-netter. Hill once again faced a fairly light workload, but he wasn't able to take advantage of it. He has started eight of the Golden Knights' last nine games, going 3-5-0 with 16 goals allowed on 143 shots (.888 save percentage) in that span. That's still better than his overall work this season -- he's at a 9-9-3 record with a 3.03 GAA and an .868 save percentage over 23 starts. The Golden Knights' next game is a pivotal one for playoff positioning, as they host the Oilers on Thursday.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Quiet performance in win

Hill stopped 13 of 15 shots on net in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Stars. Despite making his lowest save total in a complete game this season, Hill earned Sunday's win due to a strong defensive effort from Vegas in the second and third periods. Overall, the 29-year-old netminder now has a 9-8-3 record, a 3.03 GAA and an .869 save percentage across 22 appearances this season. Over his past five appearances, which includes a blundered start against the Mammoth, his overall play has improved with a 3-2-0 record, a 1.94 GAA and a .910 save percentage. Hill is trending in the right direction and is a solid fantasy option in two-goalie formats for the time being.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Drawing start in Dallas

Hill will defend the road cage Sunday against the Stars, per SinBin.vegas. Hill got the day off in the first half of Vegas' back-to-back Saturday in Nashville after appearing in six straight games. The 29-year-old went 2-4-0 with a 2.16 GAA and an .898 save percentage during that six-game stretch. The Stars are also on the second half of a back-to-back -- they lost in overtime in Minnesota on Saturday by a 2-1 score.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Makes no saves in loss

Hill didn't stop any of the three shots he faced in Thursday's 4-0 loss to the Mammoth. Hill was pulled after 8:12 of game time, allowing two goals to Clayton Keller and Jack McBain. This was Hill's season-high sixth straight start, which may have played a role in his performance, though the Golden Knights didn't give him any support. Hill is down to 8-8-3 with a 3.08 GAA and an .869 save percentage over 21 starts this season. Both Hill and Akira Schmid should get a look over the weekend in a back-to-back as the Golden Knights visit Nashville on Saturday and Dallas on Sunday.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Loses close game

Hill stopped 23 of 24 shots in Tuesday's 2-0 loss to the Sabres. Hill did his part, allowing just a Josh Doan goal in the first period, but the Golden Knights couldn't bail him out. This was Hill's fifth straight start, and he's allowed just eight goals on 105 shots in that span. The 29-year-old is running with the chance to be a clear-cut No. 1 and is now at an 8-7-3 record with a 2.94 GAA and an .875 save percentage on the year. With Hill playing well, Akira Schmid seems unlikely to get many looks. The Golden Knights' next game is Thursday at home versus the Mammoth.

He's 7-6-3 with a 3.24 GAA and an .864 save percentage in 18 appearances this campaign. Chicago has earned back-to-back 3-2 overtime victories over Utah to improve to 25-29-11 on the season.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Delivers strong outing in win

Hill stopped 24 of 26 shots in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Penguins. The Golden Knights' offense was good, but Hill also put in a steady performance, limiting the Penguins to the second period for their goals. Hill had lost three of his previous four outings entering Thursday. The 29-year-old netminder improved to 7-6-3 with a 3.24 GAA and an .864 save percentage through 18 outings this season, so there's still some risk with counting on him in fantasy. The Golden Knights host the Blackhawks on Saturday.

Pittsburgh is also searching for a win after dropping four of its past five (1-2-2). The Penguins are missing star centers Sidney Crosby (lower body) and Evgeni Malkin (suspension).

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Tough outing against Oilers

Hill stopped 15 of 18 shots in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Oilers. The fourth goal was an empty-netter. Hill didn't show a great performance, struggling even against a light workload in this loss. Hill has allowed 15 goals over his four appearances since the Olympic break, though he's salvaged a 2-2-0 record from that stretch. The 29-year-old goalie is down to 6-5-3 with a 3.40 GAA and an .859 save percentage through 16 starts this season. If the Golden Knights continue to alternate between Hill and Akira Schmid, Hill's next outing would be against the Penguins on Thursday.

  • Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Hangs on for OT win

Hill made 23 saves in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Red Wings. Detroit scored three times in the first period on 11 shots, but Hill regained his focus at the intermission and shut the door the rest of the way. The 29-year-old netminder has won two of three starts since the Olympic break while working in a timeshare with Akira Schmid, but Hill's given up 12 goals on only 67 shots (.821 save percentage) during that time. It remains to be seen whether Vegas will be content with its goaltending situation at the trade deadline.
