Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Drawing start Thursday
Hill was the first goalie off during Thursday's morning skate, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports, indicating that he'll draw the preseason start at home against Utah.
Hill drew the start against the Kings during Saturday's preseason opener and allowed two goals on 19 shots in the victory. He'll defend the crease once again during the Golden Knights' penultimate preseason game, which means that Carter Hart will presumably draw the home start Saturday against the Sharks if the team sticks to its initial plan for each netminder to get two preseason starts. Hill is expected to serve as the No. 2 goaltender in Vegas to begin the regular season.

Hill remains the starting goaltender for the Golden Knights, and his status as the No. 1 option isn't in jeopardy, but the team's defensive woes in recent weeks have conspired against his fantasy upside. He's gone 5-6-2 in 13 appearances since the beginning of March, posting a 2.79 GAA and an .872 save percentage on 265 shots faced in that span.

Hill struggled initially, allowing the first three goals. The Golden Knights picked him up with four tallies, but Dylan Strome tied it on the power play in the third period for the Capitals, and it was Strome who had the lone tally in the shootout to decide the game.
