Kraken's Bobby McMann: Staying in Seattle
McMann signed a six-year, $34.5 million contract with the Kraken on Sunday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
McMann was traded to Seattle from Toronto on the day of the 2026 trade deadline, and the 30-year-old made a good impression on the team he's locked in with for the foreseeable future. The 30-year-old forward potted 10 goals in just 18 games with the Kraken, a team that was in need of scoring help. In total, McMann registered 29 goals, 46 points, 183 shots and 165 hits over 78 games between the Kraken and Maple Leafs in 2025-26. The Alberta native will probably start the 2026-27 season in a middle-six role, but McMann is capable of playing up and down the lineup.

Kraken's Mackie Samoskevich: Acquired in trade
Seattle acquired Samoskevich from Florida on Sunday in exchange for the No. 25 overall pick in the 2026 NHL Entry Draft and a conditional 2027 second-round selection.
Samoskevich accumulated 12 goals, 32 points, 161 shots on net and 136 hits across 77 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign. The 23-year-old will be in the mix for a middle-six role with the Kraken, and he will also likely see power-play time in the 2026-27 season.

Kraken's Logan Morrison: Staying with Seattle
Morrison signed a one-year, $850,000 contract with the Kraken on Thursday.
Per Sound of Hockey, it's a two-way contract that will allow Morrison to avoid restricted free agency this summer. The 23-year-old will remain with Seattle either way after taking a big step forward in his third professional season. He had 29 goals, 32 assists and a plus-23 rating over 68 regular-season outings with AHL Coachella Valley, and he added six points in 12 playoff contests. Morrison could be given a look with the big club in 2026-27, but he hasn't seen NHL action since the 2023-24 campaign, when he suited up in four games.

Kraken's Alexis Bernier: Pens entry-level deal
Bernier agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with Seattle on Tuesday.
Bernier was limited to just 21 regular-season games with QMJHL Chicoutimi this season, recording four goals and eight assists before adding seven points in 20 postseason clashes. The 19-year-old winger will need more time developing before he gets a shot at an NHL roster, so fantasy managers in dynasty formats will need to be patient.

Kraken's Niklas Kokko: Steps up with shutout
Kokko posted a 33-save shutout in AHL Coachella Valley's 4-0 win over Colorado in Game 2 on Friday.
Kokko has gone 6-4 with two shutouts, a 2.40 GAA and a .911 save percentage over 10 games this postseason. The netminder is locked in as the Firebirds' top option between the pipes. He'll likely spend most of 2026-27 in the AHL, though he could push for the backup job in the NHL with a strong training camp.

Kraken's JR Avon: Pots pair for Firebirds

Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Joining Team Germany
Grubauer (lower body) will take part in the 2026 IIHF World Championship with Germany, the team announced Tuesday.
Grubauer missed the last six games of the regular season due to his lower-body injury, but he appears healthy enough to travel to Worlds. In 32 regular-season outings, the 34-year-old backstop went 13-12-4 with a 2.65 GAA and .909 save percentage. He'll enter the final year of his contract in the 2026-27 campaign.

The Kraken prospect is up to 12 goals, 24 points, 56 shots and a plus-17 rating across 15 appearances this postseason. Kraken's JR Avon: Tallies twice Wednesday
Avon scored two goals in AHL Coachella Valley's 3-0 win over Ontario in Game 1 on Wednesday.
Avon put up 24 points over 45 regular-season appearances, his best output in three AHL campaigns. He's already at three goals and an assist over four playoff contests. The 22-year-old doesn't seem to be close to a potential NHL debut given his offensive output, and if it happens in the coming years, he projects as more of a defensive forward.

Kraken's Niklas Kokko: Earns shutout in AHL playoff win
Kokko posted a 23-save shutout in AHL Coachella Valley's 3-0 win over Ontario in Game 1 on Wednesday.
Kokko went 19-10-2 with a 3.13 GAA and a .901 save percentage over 35 regular-season games. He's allowed 12 goals over four playoff outings, but he's come away with three wins after shutting out the Reign in the first round of the Pacific Division semifinals. Kokko will likely see steady usage for the rest of the Firebirds' postseason run.

Kraken's Oscar Fisker Molgaard: Another big game in AHL
Fisker Molgaard scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Coachella Valley's 6-2 win over Bakersfield in Game 3 on Sunday.
Fisker Molgaard has five points over three playoff contests, powering the Firebirds' offense as they advance to the next round of the postseason. They'll have a tough task against top-seeded Ontario. Fisker Molgaard will get a taste of pressure throughout this postseason run, which should help him prepare for challenging for an NHL job in 2026-27.

Kraken's Jani Nyman: Logs three points Sunday
Nyman scored a goal and added an assist in AHL Coachella Valley's 6-2 win over Bakersfield in Game 3 on Sunday.
Nyman's big game helped the Firebirds get to the next round of the playoffs. The winger has earned four points over three playoff outings this season, after posting 33 points in 39 regular-season games in the AHL and another seven points across 28 NHL outings. Nyman's strong shot and a bit of physicality could make him an intriguing option for middle-six minutes if he can stick in the NHL throughout 2026-27, though he still has to prove he can score with the Kraken.

Kraken's Julius Miettinen: Picks up three helpers
Miettinen registered three assists in WHL Everett's 5-4 double-overtime win over Penticton in Game 2 on Saturday.
Miettinen is up to eight goals and seven assists over 11 playoff contests. The Kraken prospect racked up 76 points and a plus-60 rating in 52 regular-season contests. He's gone three games without a goal, but Miettinen can both score and set up teammates at the junior level.

Kraken's Oscar Fisker Molgaard: Keeps Firebirds' season alive
Fisker Molgaard scored twice in AHL Coachella Valley's 5-4 win over Bakersfield in Game 2 on Saturday.
Fisker Molgaard had the Firebirds' last two goals of the game, keeping their season alive for one more day, at least. He had 34 points over 49 regular-season appearances in the AHL, and he added two assists in 13 NHL contests with the Kraken. The Danish forward still has a bit to prove in the AHL, but he may see more time in the NHL in 2026-27.

Kraken's Jake O'Brien: Three-point game Wednesday
O'Brien scored twice and added an assist in OHL Brantford's 4-3 win over Barrie in Game 1 on Wednesday.
O'Brien started the Eastern Conference Finals the same way he opened the second round, delivering a three-point effort. This was his seventh multi-point game during the OHL playoffs. He's earned five goals and 13 assists over nine playoff outings this year. O'Brien will look to remain productive as Brantford makes a strong push for a league title.

Kraken's Gustav Olofsson: Gathers trio of helpers
Olofsson notched three assists in AHL Coachella Valley's 6-4 win over San Diego on Saturday.
Olofsson has 32 points over 48 appearances this season, his best year in the AHL to date. That helped him earn an NHL deal in March, though he didn't get a call-up to Seattle after signing. He'll likely be in the market for another two-way contract at best this offseason.

Kraken's Ty Nelson: Racks up four points in AHL win
Nelson scored a goal and added three assists in AHL Coachella Valley's 6-4 win over San Diego on Saturday.
With the effort, Nelson has a career-high 35 points over 63 appearances this season in his second AHL campaign. He had gone five contests without a point prior to Saturday. Nelson is still waiting for a chance to make his NHL debut, but he could get a look if the Kraken don't add to their defense in the offseason.
