In a corresponding transaction, Indianapolis signed six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Keenan Allen. Presuming Williams is not claimed by another team during the current waiver period, he's on track to become a free agent once again.

The Colts are relatively thin in their backfield behind three-time Pro Bowler Jonathan Taylor, so it's not shocking that they're adding some competition during training camp. Williams went undrafted after taking 15 carries for 46 yards over five games during his senior season at Florida State in 2025.
