    The Commanders waived Jacobs (undisclosed) from injured reserve Wednesday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Jacobs reverted to the Commanders' injured reserve on Aug. 31 after clearing waivers. The linebacker will need to clear himself of his undisclosed issue before utilizing his new free agent status to sign with another franchise.
