Seattle hosted Meiga for a tryout Tuesday, and he will now get a chance to prove himself with the team moving forward. The wide receiver was waived after reaching an injury settlement with Carolina on Aug. 12, but he has now fully recovered from an undisclosed injury.

The Panthers waived Meiga from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Aug. 12, and he's now recovered from his undisclosed injury and is free to sign with any team. The undrafted free agent out of Coastal Carolina is hoping to provide additional depth to a Seahawks wide-receiver corps that has just five receivers on the active roster.

Carolina waived Meiga (undisclosed) from its injured reserve list with an injury settlement Wednesday, Alex Zietlow of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Meiga was on track to spend the entire 2026 season on IR, but he'll now hit free agency instead if he clears waivers. The rookie undrafted free agent out of Coastal Carolina will be eligible to suit up for any team willing to sign him once he's back in football shape.

Meiga (undisclosed) reverted to the Panthers' injured-reserve list Monday, Alex Zietlow of The Charlotte Observer reports.
The Panthers waived/injured Meiga on Sunday, and the wide receiver went unclaimed throughout the waiver process. Meiga will now spend the entirety of the 2026 season on injured reserve unless he is waived with an injury settlement.
