  • Seahawks' Rylie Mills: Good to go vs. Indianapolis

Mills (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Colts. The rookie fifth-rounder is ready to make his NFL debut after starting the season on the reserve/NFI list while recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered during his final collegiate season at Notre Dame. Mills may not have a large role in his debut, but he'll provide depth for the Seahawks' defensive line behind Jarran Reed, Byron Murphy and Leonard Williams.

  • Seahawks' Rylie Mills: Activated off NFI list

The Seahawks activated Mills (knee) off the non-football injury list Saturday, and he is questionable for Sunday's Week 15 matchup against Indianapolis, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. Mills had spent his entire rookie campaign to this point on the reserve/NFI list while recovering from a torn ACL he suffered during his final college season. Now that he's been activated, the Notre Dame product is eligible to make his NFL debut, though it remains to be seen if he'll be active for Sunday's game against the Colts. If he does play, Mills probably won't have a major role for a Seattle defensive line that is otherwise mostly healthy.

  • Seahawks' Rylie Mills: Not close to returning

Mills (knee) is expected to be sidelined for another four to six weeks, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Mills has been on the reserve/non-football injury list since July and will have to wait at least another month before making his NFL debut. Once healthy, the rookie fifth-round pick could contribute as a depth defensive end behind Jarran Reed and Leonard Williams.

  • Seahawks' Rylie Mills: Starting career on NFI list

Mills (knee) was moved to the reserve/non-football injury list Tuesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Mills will be sidelined for the first four games of the regular season as he continues to recover from an ACL injury in his right knee suffered during his final season of college football at Notre Dame. Once healthy, the rookie fifth-round pick will likely work in a rotational role along Seattle's defensive line.

  • Seahawks' Rylie Mills: Back from ACL injury

Mills (knee) was getting "half speed work" in during OTAs on Thursday, Corbin Smith of emeraldcityspectrum.com reports. The defensive tackle and fifth-round pick appears to be back after missing Notre Dame's final three games during the College Football Playoff with what was at the time an undisclosed injury. Since then, it's been confirmed as an ACL injury, for which he underwent surgery, per Smith. Mills should be able to compete for a rotational role on Seattle's defensive line.
