Keys was waived from injured reserve by the Cardinals on Aug. 24 after reaching an injury settlement with the team following an undisclosed injury. The linebacker now appears to be back to full health, and he'll look to latch on with a new squad as the 2026 campaign is just underway.

Keys (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve with an injury settlement by the Cardinals on Monday, Howard Balzer of USA Today reports.
The linebacker was placed on IR on Aug. 15 after likely suffering the injury during a preseason win over the Raiders. Now that he's reached a settlement with Arizona, he can play in 2026 if he gets healthy enough to suit up. Keys appeared in 11 regular-season games for the Vikings in 2025, playing mostly on special teams and recording seven tackles (four solo), including 1.0 sacks.
