Bengals' Dax Hill: Not listed on injury report
Hill (hamstring) is not listed on the injury report ahead of Sunday's game versus Tampa Bay.
Hill battled a hamstring issue throughout the preseason, though his absence from Wednesday's injury report suggests he will be good to go for Week 1 versus the Buccaneers. The 2022 No. 31 overall pick appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Bengals during the 2025 campaign, compiling 88 total tackles and one interception.

Bengals' Dax Hill: Won't play Thursday
Hill (hamstring) will not play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Lions, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Hill recently sustained a hamstring injury that has caused him to be sidelined for training camp practices, and he'll aim to be available for the Bengals' second preseason game on Saturday, Aug. 22 against the Bears. Tacario Davis, Josh Newton and Ja'Sir Taylor will all have the opportunity to operate in expanded roles in the secondary for as long as Hill is out of action.

Bengals' Dax Hill: Hamstring tightness
Hill has missed the last three practices with hamstring tightness, James Rapien of SI.com reports.
Hill is probably unlikely to get much playing time in the Bengals' first preseason game on Thursday, but the greater concern is the Bengals' corner depth heading into the season. DJ Ivey and rookie Tacario Davis are getting more reps with Hill missing time.

Hill tallied 88 tackles (57 solo) and 11 passes defensed, including one interception, across 17 regular-season appearances in 2025.
Hill turned in respectable production totals while handling essentially an every-down role at cornerback for Cincinnati, when healthy. The 2022 first-round pick was one of the Bengals' more reliable playmakers in coverage in 2025, and he'll remain with the team for the 2026 campaign while playing out the fifth-year option on his rookie contract.

Bengals' Dax Hill: Quiet in blowout loss
Hill recorded two tackles (two solo) during Sunday's 48-10 loss at Minnesota.
Coming off back-to-back big games in the tackle column, Hill was only able to make two stops in Week 3. The Bengals' defensive backfield had to be reshuffled with Cam Taylor-Britt out with a hamstring injury, which could at least partially explain the drop in production. Hill still projects as a viable IDP option in Week 4 at Denver.

Hill had nine more tackles, including one for a loss, and a big interception early in the Bengals' win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
Hill was a standout performer on a day where the Bengals often lacked standout performers. They had just two tackles for losses, the other on a sack by Trey Hendrickson.
