Brisker recorded six tackles (four solo) and an interception during Sunday's 20-13 win versus the Falcons.
With Pittsburgh trailing 7-6 early in the second quarter, Brisker found himself well-positioned to pick off a poorly placed Cooper Rush pass, setting up a go-ahead Steelers touchdown. He should play a near-every down role again in Week 2 against New England.

Steelers' Jaquan Brisker: Back in action
Brisker (undisclosed) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Brisker was unable to participate in the preseason due to a persistent undisclosed issue. The starting free safety appears to have overcome the injury just in time for the first official week of regular-season practice and is all set to go for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Steelers' Jaquan Brisker: Misses preseason opener
Brisker (undisclosed) did not play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Packers, Andrew Vasquez of steelerswire.com reports.
Brisker is dealing with an unknown issue that kept him out of Thursday's game as well as subsequent practices. The starting safety's return timeline is unknown, and the longer he misses, the more first-team reps Jack Henderson will see. The Steelers' secondary is now in dire straits, with Joey Porter (back), Jalen Ramsey (knee) and Donte Kent (undisclosed) all still on the active/PUP list. Brandin Echols (ankle) and Israel Mukuamu (undisclosed) are also dealing with injuries, meaning depth for the team is razor thin as they head into Friday's preseason game against the Jets.

Steelers' Jaquan Brisker: Moving to Pittsburgh
Brisker agreed to a deal with the Steelers on Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The safety started all 17 regular-season games and both playoff games for the Bears in 2025, finishing the regular season with 93 tackles (52 solo) and eight pass breakups. It was a nice return season for Brisker after missing most of the 2024 campaign with concussion-related issues. The 2022 second-round pick could play a similar role for Pittsburgh as he did for Chicago last year.
