  • Titans' Jerrick Reed: Staying with Tennessee

Reed signed a one-year contract with the Titans on Thursday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. The safety was claimed off waivers by the Titans from the Seahawks last November, and he appeared in three games with his new team, making six tackles (four solo). Reed saw action on 61 defensive snaps and 24 special-teams snaps after joining Tennessee. He played more on special teams than defense for Seattle last year.

  • Titans' Jerrick Reed: Claimed by Tennessee

The Titans claimed Reed off waivers Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports. Reed is headed to Tennessee after being waived by the Seahawks on Tuesday. The 25-year-old recorded four tackles (two solo) across five outings with Seattle. He could contribute both as a depth defender and special teamer with the Titans.

  • Jerrick Reed: Let go by Seattle

The Seahawks waived Reed on Tuesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. Reed started the season on the Seahawks' practice squad after failing to make the 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He was elevated for Week 3 against the Saints, when he played 22 snaps (six on defense, 16 on special teams) and finished with two solo tackles. Reed has mostly served in a special-teams role since being selected by Seattle in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and he'll look to join a team in need of his services assuming he clears waivers. Reed's removal from the Seahawks' active roster makes room for wide receiver Cody White.

  • Seahawks' Jerrick Reed: Makes five stops in tie

Reed (quadriceps) made five tackles (three solo) in Thursday's 23-23 tie versus the Raiders. Reed's 2024 season ended on injured reserve due to a quadriceps injury. He's back to full health and played the second half of Thursday's preseason contest. Reed is likely on the roster bubble after the Seahawks drafted Nick Emmanwori in the second round, so he'll need to stand out on special teams to secure a spot.

  • Seahawks' Jerrick Reed: Lands on IR

Reed (quadriceps) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. Reed was already ruled out for this Week 15 matchup against the Packers due to a nagging quad problem that prevented him from practicing all week long, and the placement on injured reserve will sideline him for the rest of the regular season. His absence won't affect many fantasy decisions. Reed has logged only four defensive snaps over five contests on the campaign.

  • Seahawks' Jerrick Reed: Will play Week 8

Reed (knee) is active for Sunday's game against Buffalo. Reed will make his 2024 regular-season debut Sunday after missing the first seven games while recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in November of 2023. Reed and K'Von Wallace will provide depth in the Seahawks' secondary behind starting safeties Coby Bryant and Julian Love.

  • Seahawks' Jerrick Reed: Comes off IR

The Seahawks activated Reed (knee) from injured reserve Saturday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports. Reed has missed the entire 2024 campaign to this point due to a torn ACL sustained in November of 2023. He could make his season debut Sunday versus the Bills.

  • Seahawks' Jerrick Reed: Won't play vs. Atlanta

Reed (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons, Colin Gunther of the Seahawks' official site reports. Reed opened the season on the reserve/PUP list while in the final stages of his recovery from a torn ACL he suffered in November 2023. His 21-day practice window opened Monday, and while he was able to finish the week strong with a full practice session Friday, he will not be active for Sunday's game. Given his progression, it wouldn't be surprising if Reed was able to suit up for Week 8 against Buffalo on Sunday, Oct. 27.

  • Seahawks' Jerrick Reed: Returning to practice

Seattle designated Reed (knee) to return to practice Monday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Reed has sat out of the first six games of the season while recovering from a torn ACL he suffered last year, but it now appears he could be on track to play again soon. The Seahawks will have 21 days to activate him from the PUP list to their active roster before they'd have to rule him out for the rest of the year.

  • Seahawks' Jerrick Reed: Placed on PUP list

Reed (knee) was placed on the reserve/PUP list by the Seahawks on Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official website reports. Reed will be forced to sit at least the first four games of the 2024 season while on the PUP list. He is still recovering from a torn ACL he suffered in 2023, and the earliest he can play is Week 5 against the Giants on Oct. 6.
