Ravens' Joe Fagnano: Emergency QB again in Week 2
Fagnano (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game versus the Saints but serving as the emergency third quarterback, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.
Fagnano is inactive once again but will serve as the Ravens' emergency signal-caller in Week 2. However, unless Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley are injured during the contest, Fagnano won't be on the field Sunday.

Ravens' Joe Fagnano: Serving as emergency QB
Fagnano (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Colts.
The preseason standout is third on the depth chart behind Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley, and he will need both to be unavailable to have a chance to enter the game Sunday. Fagnano completed 74.7 percent of his passes during the preseason for 509 yards and three touchdowns.

Ravens' Joe Fagnano: Gets spot on 53-man roster
Fagnano is included on the Ravens' initial 53-man roster, Ryan Mink of the team's official site reports.
Baltimore doesn't typically carry three QBs on the roster, but Fagnano essentially forced his way onto the club with a standout preseason. During exhibition play, he completed 74.7 percent of his 75 pass attempts for a league-high 509 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Fagnano isn't likely to threaten for playing time unless there are injuries ahead of him on the depth chart, however, as Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley are firmly in place as the Ravens' top two QBs.

Ravens' Joe Fagnano: In line to compete for No. 3 QB job
The Ravens have agreed to terms with Fagnano, Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports.
In addition to signing Fagnano, an undrafted QB out of Connecticut, the Ravens brought in another UDFA signal caller, Diego Pavia (a 2025 Heisman Trophy finalist) via Vanderbilt. Per GM Eric DeCosta, the rookie duo will compete for slotting behind starter Lamar Jackson and his top backup, Tyler Huntley. During the 2025 campaign, the 25-year-old Fagnano completed 69 percent of his passes in 12 games with UConn for 3,448 yards with 28 touchdowns and one interception.
