  • Kevin Strong: No longer suspended

The NFL reinstated Strong from his suspension Tuesday, per the NFL transaction log. Strong has served a three-game suspension that was placed on him by the league in late August. The 28-year-old defensive end will now have the opportunity to sign with a team. He played in 14 regular-season games with the Cardinals in 2023 and accumulated 46 tackles (25 solo), including 2.5 sacks, one pass defended and one fumble recovery.

  • Kevin Strong: Waived by Arizona

The Cardinals waived Strong on Friday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports. This move comes as a surprise, as Strong has played well this season, recording career highs with 46 tackles (25 solo), including 2.5 sacks, over 14 games. He has dealt with a variety of injuries, including separate shoulder and knee issues that have caused him to miss time, but it's uncertain if those issues played a role in his departure. Roy Lopez could see more work Sunday in Strong's stead in the team's season finale versus Seattle.

  • Cardinals' Kevin Strong: Will play Sunday

Strong (knee) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports. Strong started the week with back-to-back limited practice sessions, but he was a full participant Friday and is good to go for Sunday's game. Strong has a career-high 37 tackles (21 solo), including 2.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery over 11 games this season.

  • Cardinals' Kevin Strong: Questionable to suit up Sunday

Strong (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Pittsburgh, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports. Strong was at all three of the Cardinals' practices during the week, but he was also limited for all of them, so he seems to be truly questionable for Week 13. If he misses a second consecutive game, 2022 third-rounder Cameron Thomas could see increased reps.

  • Cardinals' Kevin Strong: Uncertain to play Sunday

Strong (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game in Houston, Zach Gershman of Arizona's official site reports. Strong has previously dealt with an ankle injury and a shoulder issue this season, and he is now hampered by a knee injury. The defensive lineman logged a trio of limited practices this week, leaving his status up in the air heading into Sunday's game versus the Texans. If Strong needs to sit out, Dante Stills could see more work.

  • Cardinals' Kevin Strong: Limited in practice again

Strong (knee) was a limited participant in practice for the second day in a row Thursday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports. The starting defensive end missed one game earlier in the season with a shoulder injury but has otherwise played in every contest. Strong has 30 tackles, including 2.5 sacks, a pass defensed and a fumble recovery in 2023.

  • Cardinals' Kevin Strong: Suiting up Sunday

Strong (shoulder) is active Sunday against the Browns. Strong will return after missing Week 8 against the Ravens. His ability to play should be a boost to the team's pass rush, as they work to contain Deshaun Watson and the Cleveland offense in Week 9.

  • Cardinals' Kevin Strong: Tabbed as questionable for Week 9

Strong (shoulder) has a questionable tag for Sunday's contest versus Cleveland, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports. Strong missed last week's loss to the Ravens but has a chance to suit up against the Browns after logging a trio of limited practices during Week 9 prep. He had been on a roll prior to getting hurt, notching 2.5 sacks over his past three games. If Strong isn't able to return to the field Sunday, Dante Stills would likely see an uptick in defensive snaps.

  • Titans' Kevin Strong: Inactive Sunday

Strong (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against Kansas City, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. Strong was limited at practice Wednesday and Thursday this week but was unable to participate Friday. He'll be held out for at least one game, which could lead to a slight uptick in playing time for Mario Edwards and Larrell Murchison.

  • Kevin Strong: Reverts to practice squad

Strong reverted back to the Lions' practice squad Monday, according to the NFL's official transaction report. Strong was called up to the active roster ahead of Sunday's loss to the Packers, playing in 13 of the 73 defensive snaps. He'll now return to the practice squad but could be called upon again if the Lions need some defensive line depth ahead of gameday.
