Kevin Strong: No longer suspended
The NFL reinstated Strong from his suspension Tuesday, per the NFL transaction log.
Strong has served a three-game suspension that was placed on him by the league in late August. The 28-year-old defensive end will now have the opportunity to sign with a team. He played in 14 regular-season games with the Cardinals in 2023 and accumulated 46 tackles (25 solo), including 2.5 sacks, one pass defended and one fumble recovery.

The Cardinals waived Strong on Friday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports.
This move comes as a surprise, as Strong has played well this season, recording career highs with 46 tackles (25 solo), including 2.5 sacks, over 14 games. He has dealt with a variety of injuries, including separate shoulder and knee issues that have caused him to miss time, but it's uncertain if those issues played a role in his departure. Roy Lopez could see more work Sunday in Strong's stead in the team's season finale versus Seattle.

Strong (knee) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the 49ers, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.
Strong started the week with back-to-back limited practice sessions, but he was a full participant Friday and is good to go for Sunday's game. Strong has a career-high 37 tackles (21 solo), including 2.5 sacks, and a fumble recovery over 11 games this season.

Strong has been dealing with a knee issue since mid-November. He sat out Week 12 but was able to return for Week 13 against the Steelers. Strong is building on his career-year and he's up to 37 tackles (21 solo), including 2.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery in 11 games this season.
