  • Dolphins' Quinton Bell: Signed to Fins' active roster

The Dolphins signed Bell from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Monday night's game against the Steelers. Bell is now eligible to play for the Dolphins for the rest of the 2025 campaign after being elevated from the practice squad for the maximum of three times. He has one assisted tackle across three regular-season games, and he gives Miami more depth at linebacker and another contributor on special teams.

  • Dolphins' Quinton Bell: Re-signing with Miami

Bell is slated to re-sign with the Dolphins on a one-year, $1.5 million contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Bell is coming off a solid 2024 campaign in which he contributed both as a standout on special teams and in a depth role on defense due to injuries elsewhere in Miami's linebacker corps. While he doesn't profile as a legitimate breakout candidate for IDP purposes, Bell could conceivably take another step forward after an additional offseason to grow in the Dolphins' defensive scheme.

  • Dolphins' Quinton Bell: Earns consistent role with Miami

Bell finished the 2024 regular season with 27 tackles (16 solo), including 1.0 sacks, one pass defense and one forced fumble across 17 games. Before the start of the 2024 campaign, Bell had played in 10 regular-season games since being selected by the Raiders in the seventh round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Bell ended up playing 619 snaps across 17 games in 2024, and while the majority of those came on special teams, he did earn a rotational role at linebacker due to injuries to Jaelan Phillips (knee), Tyus Bowser (knee) and others. Bell is a restricted free agent, which means the Dolphins have the ability to match any offer that another team makes for the linebacker's services.

  • Dolphins' Quinton Bell: Receives bump up

Bell was elevated to the Dolphins' active roster from their practice squad Monday, Alain Poupart of SI.com reports. Bell will receive his first opportunity to suit up during the 2023 campaign Monday night against the Titans. The 2019 seventh-round selection should bolster Miami's depth at linebacker for the matchup.
