  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Making progress in recovery

Kincaid (hamstring) is improving in his recovery, head coach Sean McDermott said Friday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. Kincaid hasn't practiced or played since hurting his hamstring in Buffalo's Week 10 loss to the Dolphins. After Thursday's loss to the Texans, the Bills don't play again until Nov. 30 at Pittsburgh. If Kincaid resumes practicing prior to that game, that could put him on track to return against the Steelers.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Ruled out for TNF

Bills coach Sean McDermott said Wednesday that Kincaid (hamstring) is ruled out for Thursday's road contest against the Texans, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. McDermott's announcement doesn't come as much of a surprise, as Kincaid was labeled week-to-week after injuring his hamstring Week 10 versus the Dolphins and hasn't practiced in any capacity since. His next chance to return to action will come Sunday, Nov. 30 on the road against Pittsburgh in Week 13, while Dawson Knox will start at tight end for Buffalo on Thursday, with Jackson Hawes operating in the No. 2 role.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Not practicing Tuesday

Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that Kincaid (hamstring) won't participate in Tuesday's walk-through practice, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports. Since Tuesday represents the Bills' most extensive on-field work of the week, Kincaid appears likely to remain out for a second straight game Thursday versus the Texans. While Kincaid sat out the Bills' Week 11 win over the Buccaneers, Dawson Knox operated as the clear top tight end, logging 77 percent of the offensive snaps and recording one catch for 23 yards on three targets. Jackson Hawes served as the No. 2 option at the position, playing 34 percent of the snaps without drawing a target.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Unable to practice Monday

Bills coach Sean McDermott said Kincaid (hamstring) will be listed as a non-participant on Monday's practice report, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports. Buffalo will host a walkthrough Monday, but Kincaid's hamstring injury will nonetheless keep him from participating in any capacity. That bodes poorly for the starting tight end's odds of gaining clearance in time for Thursday's road matchup against the Texans, especially given that he's been labeled "week-to-week" and has missed only one contest so far. Dawson Knox played 75 percent of the offensive snaps versus the Buccaneers in Week 11 with Kincaid sidelined, though he secured just one catch for 23 yards (on three targets).

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Ruled out for Sunday

Coach Sean McDermott noted Friday that Kincaid (hamstring) won't play Sunday against the Buccaneers, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. Kincaid thus will target a potential return to action this coming Thursday, when the Bills face the Texans on the road. In Kincaid's absence this weekend, Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes are slated to handle Buffalo's tight end duties versus Tampa Bay, a context that makes Knox a streaming option to consider Week 11.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Not practicing Wednesday

Kincaid (hamstring) won't practice Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. Kincaid now has two more opportunities to make a practice appearance before the Bills assign injury designations ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. If he's limited or out this weekend, fellow TEs Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes would be in line to see added snaps/targets in Week 11.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Considered week-to-week

Kincaid is week-to-week after suffering a hamstring injury during Sunday's loss to the Dolphins, NFL reporter Jordan Schultz reports. Kincaid secured two of three targets for 37 yards before being forced out of Sunday's divisional loss in the third quarter. He appears to be dealing with an injury severe enough to keep him sidelined Week 11 versus the Buccaneers and potentially longer, though the Bills haven't yet provided an estimated timetable for third-year pro's recovery. Kincaid has emerged as one of Josh Allen's clear top targets in the passing game alongside wide receiver Khalil Shakir, and any missed games on his part will thrust Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes into expanded roles at tight end.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Hurts hamstring Sunday

Kincaid (hamstring) won't return to Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Before sustaining his hamstring injury, Kincaid ended up catching two of his three targets in the contest for 37 yards. He'll now target a potential return to action next Sunday against the Buccaneers. For now, Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes are the Bills' healthy tight ends.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Starting Tight Ends

Kincaid had a great game in Week 9 against Kansas City with six catches for 101 yards and a touchdown on six targets. He now has five games this season with at least four targets, and he scored at least 14.8 PPR points in four of them. One of those games was Week 3 against Miami, when he had five catches for 66 yards and a touchdown on six targets, and the Dolphins are No. 5 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. Four tight ends have scored at least 10.3 PPR points against Miami in the past four games, and Kincaid has top-five upside in all leagues in this matchup.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Top DFS Play

We don't get Brock Bowers on the main slate this week, and Trey McBride is facing the Seahawks, so I am going with Dalton Kincaid as my top play in DFS. The Dolphins have had troubles covering tight ends this year, and Kincaid scored 17.6 PPR Fantasy points against them earlier this year.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

Kincaid was quiet in Week 8 at Carolina in his return from a one-game absence with an oblique injury. He had one catch for 23 yards on three targets against the Panthers, but I'm not expecting much more from him in Week 9 against Kansas City. The Chiefs are No. 4 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, and only Mark Andrews in Week 4 and Sam LaPorta in Week 6 have scored at least 10.0 PPR points against Kansas City, with LaPorta catching the lone touchdown the Chiefs have allowed to the position. Prior to missing Week 6, Kincaid had scored at least 9.8 PPR points in three games in a row, but he scored just 7.1 PPR points in his lone meeting with Kansas City in 2023. I would only start Kincaid in deeper leagues in Week 9.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Quiet in return to action

Kincaid (oblique) brought in one of three targets for 23 yards in the Bills' 40-9 win over the Panthers on Sunday. Making his return from a one-game absence that predated the Week 7 bye, Kincaid made a splash on his one catch but otherwise was quiet. The third-year tight end had posted a 108-yard performance against the Patriots in Week 5 before sitting out Week 6, but he's now recorded 48 receiving yards or less in four of his other five games heading into a Week 9 clash with the Chiefs at home next Sunday afternoon.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Questionable for Sunday

Coach Sean McDermott said Friday that Kincaid (oblique) will be limited in Friday's practice and listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. Kincaid, who was inactive for the Bills' loss to the Falcons in Week 6 after being limited at practice three consecutive days, has yet to upgrade to full participation since then, and given his questionable designation, the tight end's Week 8 status won't be known until the inactives are posted ahead of Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. If Kincaid ends up limited or sidelined versus Carolina, Dawson Knox would be in line to see added snaps/targets, with Jackson Hawes available to mix in.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Still limited Thursday

Kincaid (oblique) remained limited at practice Thursday. Kincaid, who missed the Bills' Week 6 loss to the Falcons after being limited at practice three consecutive days, thus far has been unable to upgrade his participation level as Sunday's game against the Panthers approaches. Unless that happens Friday, he'll presumably carry an injury designation into the weekend. If Kincaid is limited or out versus Carolina, fellow TEs Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes would be in line for added snaps Week 8.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: To be limited Wednesday

Kincaid (oblique) will be limited at practice Wednesday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. Kincaid was inactive for the Bills' Week 6 loss to the Falcons after logging three straight limited practice listings. On the heels of the team's bye, the tight end will remain limited Wednesday as his team prepares for Sunday's game against the Panthers. In his absence versus Atlanta, fellow TE Dawson Knox caught one of his two targets for 19 yards, while Jackson Hawes wasn't targeted.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Questionable for MNF

Kincaid (oblique) is listed as questionable for Monday's game in Atlanta. Kincaid donned a non-contact jersey at Thursday's practice and spent the entirety of Week 6 prep as a limited participant due to an oblique injury. With a Monday night kickoff on tap, there won't be many options to turn to if Kincaid ends up inactive. Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes currently are the TE options on the Bills' active roster.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Stays limited Friday

Kincaid (oblique) remained a limited participant in practice Friday. Kincaid has been limited both Thursday and Friday. He'll have one more opportunity to upgrade to full participation Saturday before the Bills reveal their injury designations for Monday's game against the Falcons.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Logs limited practice

Kincaid (oblique) was limited at practice Thursday. Per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com, Kincaid sported a non-contact jersey during Thursday's session, with the Bills' first practice report of the week revealing that the tight end is working through an oblique issue. Kincaid now has two more chances to upgrade his participation level ahead of Monday night's game against the Falcons. In this past Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Patriots, Kincaid logged a 54 percent snap share while catching all six of his targets for a team-high 108 yards.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Starting Tight Ends

Kincaid has now scored a touchdown in three of four games this year, and hopefully, he can find the end zone again in Week 5 against the Patriots. New England allowed two touchdowns to Tommy Tremble and Mitchell Evans for the Panthers in Week 4, and Brock Bowers beat up the Patriots for 15.3 PPR points in Week 4. Kincaid has faced New England three times in his career, and he scored at least 12.7 PPR points in two of those outings. I like him as a top-10 Fantasy tight end in all leagues in Week 5.

  • Bills' Dalton Kincaid: Gets scoring started in wild win

Kincaid caught all four of his targets for 48 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 41-40 win over the Ravens. Kincaid scored a 15-yard touchdown on the opening drive but was relatively quiet the rest of the way, especially considering Josh Allen ultimately threw for 394 yards. This was nonetheless an encouraging performance from Kincaid, who had only two regular-season touchdowns apiece in the 2023 and 2024 campaigns. Dawson Knox had two catches for 20 yards and rookie fifth-round pick Jackson Hawes also had a 29-yard catch, but Kincaid clearly looks like the top receiving option among Buffalo's tight ends heading into Week 2 against the Jets.
