Cory Trice: Waived by Pittsburgh
The Steelers waived Trice (knee/hamstring) with a failed physical designation Tuesday, Brooke Pryor of ESPN reports.
Trice has continuously been plagued by injuries, appearing in just six regular-season games since being drafted in 2023. Should he go unclaimed on waivers, the 25-year-old could end up with another team once healthy.

Steelers' Cory Trice: Done for 2025
Trice (hamstring/knee) will be sidelined for the rest of the season after he was not activated from injured reserve prior to Wednesday's deadline, Chris Adamski of TribLive.com reports.
Trice opened the season on IR due to a hamstring injury, which he sustained during training camp. The Steelers opened his 21-day window to return from IR on Oct. 29, but the third-year cornerback sustained a knee injury the following day and hasn't practiced since. With his window coming to a close Wednesday, Trice won't be eligible to play in 2025. The 2023 seventh-round pick will enter the final year of his rookie contract in 2026.

Steelers' Cory Trice: Questionable for Sunday
Trice (hamstring) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Bengals, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Trice's 21-day practice window was opened Oct. 29, but the cornerback was unable to participate in practice in any capacity this week. With no reps, the 25-year-old is questionable for Sunday's contest. If he's not activated from IR by Nov. 19, Trice would be forced to sit for the remainder of the 2025 season.

Steelers' Cory Trice: Suffers knee injury in practice
Trice (hamstring) suffered a knee injury during Thursday's practice, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.
Trice began the season on injured reserve due to a hamstring injury he sustained during training camp. He was designated to return from IR on Wednesday but injured his knee during Thursday's session, which caused him to miss Friday's practice before being ruled out for Week 9 against the Colts. Saunders relays that the new injury complicates things for Trice and the Steelers, as the third-year pro would be forced to sit for the entire 2025 season if he's not activated from IR during his 21-day practice window. Trice's practice participation during Week 10 prep should provide more clarity on the state of his hamstring and knee injuries.

Steelers' Cory Trice: Dealing with hamstring injury
Trice hurt his hamstring during practice Friday, Mike DeFabo of The Athletic reports.
It's not clear how serious Trice's injury is, but Pittsburgh may opt to be cautious with his return to practice given that he missed the majority of last season due to a hamstring issue. Trice played a considerable amount in Weeks 16-18 after he returned from the injury, though he's been slated to work in a rotational role behind Darius Slay and Joey Porter (undisclosed) at outside cornerback this year.

Steelers' Cory Trice: Makes six appearances in 2024
Trice racked up 21 tackles (15 solo) and two passes defensed, including one interception, across six regular-season appearances with the Steelers in 2024.
Trice, a 2023 seventh-round pick, started Pittsburgh's final three games of the regular season, but he was then inactive for the team's wild-card round loss to the Ravens. This offseason, Trice will compete to earn a larger rotational role on defense, while continuing to operate as a contributor on special teams.

Steelers' Cory Trice: Not playing vs. Baltimore
Trice (coach's decision) is inactive for Saturday's wild-card game against the Ravens, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Trice played a season-high 67 defensive snaps against the Bengals in Week 18 and tallied 11 tackles (seven solo) in the process. However, the 2023 seventh-round pick will observe Saturday's playoff game in street clothes. James Pierre will serve as the Steelers' main backup at outside corner behind starters Donte Jackson and Joey Porter.
