  • Viliami Fehoko: Gets look from New England

The Patriots hosted Fehoko (undisclosed) for a tryout Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports. Fehoko reached an injury settlement with the Commanders in mid-August. The nature of the injury isn't clear, but the 2023 fourth-rounder appears to be fully healthy as he looks to join a team in need of depth on the defensive line.

  • Viliami Fehoko: Agrees to injury settlement

The Commanders waived Fehoko (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Fehoko had been waived/injured Aug. 11 and reverted to IR a day later. Since he was able to agree to an injury settlement, Fehoko is eligible to play in 2025 if he gets healthy and finds work elsewhere.

  • Cowboys' Viliami Fehoko: Moved to injured reserve

The Cowboys reverted Fehoko (undisclosed) to IR on Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log. It's not clear what type of issue Fehoko is currently dealing with, but he spent over a month last season on IR due to a knee injury. The defensive lineman was waived/injured by Dallas on Monday and subsequently cleared waivers. If he doesn't reach an injury settlement with the team, Fehoko will spend all of the 2024 campaign on injured reserve.

  • Cowboys' Viliami Fehoko: Returns to active roster

Fehoko (knee) was activated from injured reserve Wednesday. Fehoko has yet to suit up with the Cowboys this season despite not landing on IR until Nov. 18. The rookie was on the last day of his 21-day practice window, so if Dallas did not activate him, he would have been forced to miss the remainder of the season.

  • Cowboys' Viliami Fehoko: Designated to return from IR

The Cowboys designated Fehoko (knee) to return from injured reserve Wednesday. Fehoko went on IR on Nov. 18 due to a knee injury, and he's since sat out the required number of games to be eligible to return. The rookie defensive end had yet to play in a regular-season game prior to landing on injured reserve, and it's uncertain if he'll get the opportunity to do so if he is activated prior to the close of his 21-day practice window. Fehoko was listed as a full participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, so he appears to be back to full health.
