Leo (undisclosed) was waived from the 49ers' injured-reserve list with an injury settlement Monday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. The defensive end reverted to injured reserve Aug. 19. Now that he's reached a settlement with the team, Leo will have a chance to play in 2026. The 2023 sixth-round pick of the Colts last saw regular-season action in 2024 with New England.

  • 49ers' Titus Leo: Reverts to Niners' IR

Leo (undisclosed) reverted from waivers to San Francisco's injured reserve list Wednesday, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. Leo wasn't picked up by another club after the 49ers waived him with an injury designation Tuesday, and now he's in line to be on IR for the whole 2026 campaign. His last regular-season action came with the Patriots back in 2024, when he played mostly on special teams over four games.

  • Titus Leo: Waived/injured by San Francisco

The 49ers waived/injured Leo (undisclosed) on Tuesday. The defensive end will now be subject to waivers and if he clears will revert to the 49ers' injured reserve list. Once on IR, Leo will miss the entirety of the 2026 season unless he is waived with an injury settlement.

  • Colts' Titus Leo: Goes to Indy in Round 6

The Colts selected Leo in the sixth round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 211th overall. Leo (6-foot-3, 245 pounds) was a menacing edge defender at Wagner, a low level of competition, but the Colts take him here to see if his game can make the jump to the NFL level. Leo would ideally have run a little faster than his pro day 4.69 at 245 pounds, because he might need to add weight to play defensive end and would risk losing some speed in the process, but Leo seems to have some amount of skill to work with.
