  • Bills' Tylan Grable: Practice window opened

The Bills designated Grable (concussion) to return from injured reserve Monday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. Grable entered the league's concussion protocol in early August, which led to him starting out the regular season on injured reserve. His practice participation during Week 13 prep will determine whether he'll be activated off IR ahead of Sunday's game against the Steelers.

Grable (concussion) was placed on injured reserve with a designation to return Tuesday. • Bills' Tylan Grable: Injured in practice

Grable is in concussion protocol after leaving practice early Wednesday, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports. A sixth-round pick in 2024, Grable was a depth option for the Bills last season when healthy. However, the 25-year-old right tackle struggled to stay healthy, sustaining an abdominal injury that landed him on injured reserve. The second-year player will be out for at least a week in concussion protocol and will miss the Bills' first preseason game Saturday night against the Giants.

  • Bills' Tylan Grable: Won't return for Week 13

Grable (abdomen) was a full participant in Friday's practice but has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the 49ers. Grable was placed on injured reserve in late September after suffering a core injury during the Bills' Week 3 win over the Jaguars. He was designated to return from IR on Wednesday, and while he was able to practice in full all week, he will not be activated off IR ahead of Sunday's game. Barring a setback, Grable is on track to return for Week 14 against the Rams on Sunday, Dec. 8.

  • Bills' Tylan Grable: Heads to IR

Grable (abdomen) was placed on injured reserve Thursday. Grable suffered what was described as a core injury in Monday's win over the Jaguars, and he was expected to miss some time. His move to IR will guarantee he'll miss at least the next four games while he recovers from the injury. His absence will put a dent in the Bills' offensive line depth and make Ryan Van Demark their top reserve at offensive tackle.

  • Bills' Tylan Grable: Likely to miss time

Head coach Sean McDermott stated that Grable suffered an abdominal injury in Monday's win over the Jaguars and will likely be out for "some time," Matt Parrino of The Syracuse Post-Standard reports. Grable operates as the Bills' swing tackle and an extended absence will be a blow to the team's offensive line depth. Ryan Van Demark is currently the only healthy tackle in reserve for Buffalo behind starters Dion Dawkins and Spencer Brown.
