  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Limited action during MNF

TeSlaa failed to reel in his only target in Monday night's 24-9 win over the Buccaneers. TeSlaa played just nine offensive snaps, his lowest total since Week 1, and he failed to bring in a potential 15-yard touchdown pass from Jared Goff in the first quarter. The wide receiver remains the No. 4 option at his position behind Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Kalif Raymond heading into the team's Week 8 bye. TeSlaa has caught three of six targets for 54 yards and two touchdowns over seven contests so far this year.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Blanked in Week 6

TeSlaa didn't garner a target in Sunday night's 30-17 loss to the Chiefs. TeSlaa played a season-high 25 snaps on offense, but he didn't see a target for the second time in three weeks. The wide receiver continues to be a non-factor from a fantasy perspective this season, operating as a depth option behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. Through six games, TeSlaa has caught three of five targets for 54 yards and two touchdowns.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Finds paydirt in Week 5

TeSlaa caught his only target for a 12-yard touchdown in Sunday's 37-24 win over the Bengals. TeSlaa wasn't a major part of the offense again in Week 5, but he was able to make the most of his only opportunity, reeling in a 12-yard score in the fourth quarter. Fellow wide receiver Kalif Raymond suffered a neck injury in the second quarter of the contest, and he was unable to return to the game. If Raymond is forced to miss any action moving forward, TeSlaa would likely see an uptick in workload behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams as the team's No. 3 option at wideout.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Blanked in Week 3

TeSlaa failed to catch either of his targets in Monday's 38-30 win the Ravens. TeSlaa was limited to 14 offensive snaps in Week 3, which was three less than the week prior, but the two targets were a season high. The rookie wide receiver has caught two of four targets for 42 yards over the first three games of the year, and TeSlaa is still firmly below Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams on the WR depth chart despite the flashes of upside he's shown.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Secures impressive catch in victory

TeSlaa caught his only target for 29 yards in Sunday's 52-21 win over the Bears. TeSlaa was expected to see an increase in workload with the offense Week 2, and he saw his offensive snap count rise from three snaps in Week 1 to 17 against Chicago on Sunday. The wide receiver once again provided a highlight reel catch, securing a leaping one-handed snag up the sideline for 29 yards to get the Lions inside the five-yard line with less than 20 seconds left in the first half. Through two games in 2025, TeSlaa has made two acrobatic catches on the two targets he's garnered, and he'll keep earning more opportunities if he continues to deliver results for Detroit. Fellow wide receiver Kalif Raymond saw his offensive snaps drop from 42 in Week 1 to 32 versus the Bears, so TeSlaa may already be challenging for the No. 3 role behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Secures acrobatic TD

TeSlaa reeled in his only target for a 13-yard touchdown in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Packers. TeSlaa made the most of his only opportunity Sunday, going up the ladder to snag a 13-yard score with 55 seconds remaining in the game. The rookie finished behind Amon-Ra St. Brown (six), Jameson Williams (five) and Kalif Raymond (three) in targets at his position, but he was the only one to reach the end zone. The Packers' defense was rather stingy in Week 1, and TeSlaa may have an easier path to production in Week 2 against the Bears, who will be playing on short rest after their matchup with the Vikings on Monday Night Football.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Limited in Thursday's session

TeSlaa (illness) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. After the Lions gauged him as a limited participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report, TeSlaa returned to the field Thursday, though it didn't translate to an upgrade in terms of how the team listed the extent of his activity. In any case, the rookie wideout is expected to be ready to make his NFL debut Sunday in Green Bay, though he'll probably need to upgrade to full participation in Friday's practice to avoid carrying a designation into the weekend.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Comes down with illness

TeSlaa was listed as limited on Wednesday's estimated injury report due to an illness. A third-round pick in this year's draft, TeSlaa suited up in all three of the Lions' preseason games and made an impact in each one, racking up eight catches (on 10 targets) for 100 yards and three touchdowns along the way. Last Wednesday, Detroit's receiving corps became less cluttered when the team traded Tim Patrick to the Jaguars, which allowed TeSlaa to move up the depth chart. Still, TeSlaa will be vying for WR reps with Kalif Raymond behind the top duo of Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams, meaning targets may be tough to come by right away this season. In the end, though, TeSlaa will need to overcome an illness ahead of Sunday's game at Green Bay.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Climbs depth chart

TeSlaa's strong performance in training camp and the preseason contributed to Detroit's decision to trade Tim Patrick to the Jaguars in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick Wednesday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. Lions coach Dan Campbell said after the Lions' preseason finale 26-7 loss to Houston, in which TeSlaa caught both his targets for 41 yards and a touchdown, that the 2025 third-round pick is "going to have some growing pains" but that "we're very pleased with where he's at after six weeks of camp" and "if you took most receivers, he'd be in the upper echelon of those, as far as development" at this stage of his rookie season. Patrick operated as the No. 3 receiver for Detroit much of last season, and his departure now leaves that role up immediately for grabs between TeSlaa and Kalif Raymond.

  • Lions' Isaac TeSlaa: Another impressive preseason TD

TeSlaa caught both his targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 26-7 preseason loss to the Texans. The 2025 third-round pick wrapped up his dazzling preseason with another big play, connecting with Kyle Allen on a 33-yard TD strike late in the first quarter. TeSlaa has done everything possible to lock up a spot on the 53-man roster, and while he may begin the season as the No. 5 wideout, his trajectory to begin his career suggests it may not be long before he surpasses veterans Tim Patrick and Kalif Raymond to claim the No. 3 role behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams.
