    The Chiefs signed Armstrong to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Armstrong spent last offseason with the Dolphins but was cut ahead of Week 1 and briefly spent time on Detroit's practice squad last month. The 25-year-old has yet to appear in a regular-season NFL game.

    The Lions signed Armstrong to their practice squad Monday. The rookie from Arkansas was dropped by the Dolphins in late August after failing to make the team's initial 53-man roster, but he's since found work in Detroit. During his final collegiate season, Armstrong appeared in 11 games and caught 78 of 122 targets for 1,140 yards and one touchdown.
