Allen (undisclosed) was waived by the Vikings on Sunday with an injury designation, Rob Kleifield of the team's official website reports.
Allen appears to have picked up an undisclosed injury at some point during the preseason. If he goes unclaimed on waivers, the cornerback will revert to injured reserve with Minnesota.
