    Zakelj (undisclosed) was placed on the 49ers' injured reserve Sunday. The nature of Zakelj's injury is unclear, as is when he exactly picked up the injury. However, by being placed on IR without a designation to return, the 2022 sixth-rounder will be forced to miss the entire upcoming season unless he reached an injury settlement with San Francisco.
