  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Inactive versus Houston

Coleman is inactive for Thursday night's game against the Texans. Coleman was also inactive for this past Sunday's win over the Buccaneers after being late to a team meeting, per Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN. In the 2024 second-rounder's continued absence, Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer, Tyrell Shavers, Gabe Davis and Elijah Moore are slated to handle Buffalo's Week 12 wideout duties, with Coleman's next chance to rejoin the mix arriving Nov. 30 against the Steelers.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Expected to be inactive Thursday

Coleman is expected to be a healthy scratch Thursday night against the Texans, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN reports. Coleman was inactive for Buffalo's win over Tampa Bay in Week 11 after being late to a team meeting on the Friday prior to the contest. Assuming he's among the Bills' inactives for Thursday's 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff, Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer, Tyrell Shavers, Gabe Davis and Elijah Moore will handle the team's WR duties versus Houston.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Inactive Sunday

Coleman is inactive for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, Coleman is being made inactive Sunday because he missed a team meeting Friday. With Coleman -- who is second on the Bills with 49 targets through nine games -- a scratch Sunday, Joshua Palmer, Gabe Davis, Tyrell Shavers, Curtis Samuel and Mecole Hardman are candidates to see added opportunities along with No. 1 wideout Khalil Shakir. Meanwhile, top tight end Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) is also inactive, so Palmer will have a chance to claim a share of the targets that would normally go to Coleman and/or Kincaid in his first appearance since Week 6.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Expected to be healthy scratch

The Bills are expected to make Coleman a healthy inactive for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, according to NFL reporter Jordan Schultz. Buffalo's decision to elevate Gabe Davis from the practice squad and sign Mecole Hardman to the 53-man roster Saturday were indicators that the team was planning on shaking up its receiver personnel for Week 11, and Coleman looks like he'll be one of the odd men out. According to Schultz, Coleman's impending demotion isn't based on his performance, though the second-year wideout's underwhelming production in recent weeks -- as well as the return of Joshua Palmer from a three-game absence -- probably didn't help his case for retaining a regular role on offense. Since a standout Week 1 outing in which he recorded an 8-112-1 receiving line on 11 targets in a win over the Ravens, Coleman has averaged 3.0 catches, 27.3 yards and 4.8 targets over the Bills' subsequent eight contests.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Gets into end zone Sunday

Coleman secured three of eight targets for 46 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 30-13 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. Coleman was far from efficient, but he did finish second in receiving yards and targets behind Khalil Shakir and recorded his third touchdown of the season on a 35-yard catch early in the fourth quarter. Coleman's receiving yardage tally was his highest since Week 1, but his production remains modest overall, and he's posted three catches or less in seven of the last eight games. Coleman next takes aim at the Buccaneers secondary in a Week 11 home matchup.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Underwhelms again in Week 9

Coleman caught both of his targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 28-21 win over the Chiefs. The second-year wideout from Florida State has struggled over his last three games, catching eight of 12 targets for just 58 yards despite leading the Bills' wide-receiver room in snaps played (138 snaps) during that span. Even so, Coleman has had a solid season overall, recording 284 yards and two touchdowns on 29 catches. He's likely to remain the Bills' No. 1 wideout and will look to get back on track heading into the Week 10 matchup against the Dolphins.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Quiet performance coming out of bye

Coleman secured three of four targets for 30 yards in the Bills' 40-9 win over the Panthers on Sunday. Coleman finished a distant second to Khalil Shakir in receptions, receiving yards and targets, turning in his sixth straight sub-50-yard effort following his 112-yard tally against the Ravens in Week 1. The second-year wideout is averaging just 9.9 yards per reception and has taken just three of his 27 catches for 20-plus yards, a sharp contrast to the outstanding 19.2 yards per grab he averaged as a rookie in the 2024 regular season. Coleman will aim to make a bigger impact in a Week 9 home showdown against the Chiefs next Sunday afternoon.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: WRs to Sit

I wouldn't have high expectations for Coleman coming out of Buffalo's bye in Week 7 since he has a tough matchup at Carolina in Week 8. The Panthers are No. 3 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and Jaycee Horn will make things tough on Coleman in this matchup. He did score a touchdown in Week 5 against New England, but Coleman has scored 7.5 PPR points or less in four of his past five games heading into this matchup on the road.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Minimal yardage on three catches

Coleman brought in three of six targets for 11 yards in the Bills' 24-14 loss to the Falcons on Monday. Coleman tied for the team lead in receptions and targets, but as his final line indicates, those opportunities were essentially for naught. The second-year wideout has endured an underwhelming season that's included a Week 5 benching for that game's opening series, and Coleman notably couldn't make an impact Monday despite the Bills being without Dalton Kincaid (oblique) and Curtis Samuel (neck/ribs) to begin the game and then losing Joshua Palmer (ankle) during the contest. Coleman and quarterback Josh Allen will have a Week 7 bye to work on their chemistry before returning to action Oct. 26 on the road against the Panthers.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Benched in disciplinary move

Bills head coach Sean McDermott revealed Monday that Coleman didn't play in the first series of Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Patriots due to a disciplinary matter, Alec White of the team's official site reports. As a result of missing the first possession, Coleman played just 42 of the Bills' 68 offensive snaps on the night, with his 62 percent share representing his lowest mark since he logged 51 percent of snaps in Week 2, when Buffalo rested several key players late in a 20-point win over the Jets. McDermott didn't go into much detail about Coleman's benching beyond noting that the staff is "looking for more consistency" from the second-year wideout. For his part, Coleman seemed to respond well to the disciplinary decision, as he finished the Week 5 loss with four catches for 23 yards on seven targets, including a two-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Look for Coleman's playing time to tick back up a bit in Week 6 against the Falcons, though quarterback Josh Allen's tendency to spread the ball around to Buffalo's pass catchers renders Coleman a volatile option in weekly fantasy lineups.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Held in check by Jets

Coleman caught all three of his targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets. Coleman came back down to earth after recording 112 receiving yards and a touchdown in the season opener, as all three of Buffalo's Week 2 touchdowns came on the ground. The Bills will likely continue to spread the ball around, but the 2024 second-round pick leads the team with 14 targets and 138 receiving yards heading into Thursday's home game against a Dolphins defense that has allowed 33 points to each of its first two opponents.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Set to remain limited Friday

Coleman (groin) will practice in a limited capacity for a third consecutive session Friday, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. Head coach Sean McDermott said Friday that he's optimistic Coleman will be available Sunday against the Ravens, per Matt Parrino of Syracuse.com, though McDermott added that Coleman's status will hinge on how the wide receiver looks in Friday's session. Coleman has been experiencing groin soreness dating back to training camp, and it has limited his practice participation leading up to Week 1. He seems likely to get a questionable designation when the Bills post their final Week 1 injury report later in the day, which would leave his fantasy managers in a bind with limited alternatives available since Buffalo plays on Sunday Night Football.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Another limited practice Thursday

Coleman (groin) remained a limited participant at practice Thursday. With Coleman having logged two straight limited practices, the wideout will likely need to work fully Friday in order to avoid taking a designation into Sunday's game against the Ravens. If Coleman is out or limited this weekend, Elijah Moore (personal), Curtis Samuel and Tyrell Shavers would be next up for added opportunities at receiver behind Khalil Shakir and Joshua Palmer.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Making strides entering Year 2

Bills quarterback Josh Allen said Tuesday that Coleman is "having a really good camp," Mike Moraitis of SI.com reports. Allen said Coleman is "still seeing a lot of growth in his game and just the nuance to playing the receiver position and doing the things that we're asking him to do," and that the second-year pro has "consistently" been "a guy that can go and win" in one-on-one situations. With top wideout Khalil Shakir expected back for Week 1, but considered week-to-week due to a high-ankle sprain and currently not practicing, Coleman appears to be making the most of his increased opportunities. The 2024 second-round pick was primarily deployed as a downfield target as a rookie, but Buffalo's addition of deep threat Joshua Palmer in free agency could open up a path for Coleman to see more flexible, fantasy-friendly utilization Year 2. Coleman's size, body control, and potential to dominate in one-on-one situations provide him the upside of developing into a go-to red zone target for Allen, something the Bills lacked last season.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Inconsistent minicamp showing

Coleman was up-and-down during mandatory minicamp, showing some quality routes and a connection with Josh Allen during 7-on-7 and 11-on-11 drills, but he also struggled with occasional drops and mental mistakes, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports. Coleman's biggest mistake of minicamp came Wednesday, when he deflected a ball that was well out of his reach just enough to result in an incompletion to Khalil Shakir, Allen's intended target. As a rookie, Coleman was also inconsistent, finishing with 29 catches for 556 yards and four touchdowns (on 57 targets) across 13 regular-season appearances while mostly being cast as a deep threat. Buffalo was encouraged enough by Coleman in Year 1 that the team didn't make it a priority to add to the pass-catching group this offseason, though the team did ink another field-stretcher in Joshua Palmer. As Buscaglia notes, Coleman still has tremendous opportunity before him, and his development will likely be the primary deciding factor in how strongly the Bills pursue additional pass catchers during the 2026 offseason.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: One catch in playoff debut

Coleman caught one of three targets for five yards in Sunday's 31-7 wild-card win over the Broncos. Coleman had a disappointing wild-card performance, as his five receiving yards marked his lowest total in a contest in which he caught at least one pass. The rookie wideout played 46 of the Bills' 76 offensive snaps in the contest, the second-most snaps of any Buffalo wide receiver behind Mack Hollins (52). Next up for the Bills is a divisional-round matchup against the Ravens on Jan. 19. Coleman will look to bounce back and be more involved in what projects to be a high-scoring affair against Baltimore.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Quiet in Week 18 loss

Coleman secured two of 10 targets for 31 yards during Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Patriots. Coleman did little with the team-high 10 targets he drew from quarterback Mitchell Trubisky, who played most of the game in place of Josh Allen with Buffalo having already secured the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs. With Trubisky under center, Curtis Samuel was the only member of the Bills' offense to eclipse 50 receiving yards. Coleman will resume his usual role on offense as Buffalo hosts the Broncos in a wild-card round matchup this Sunday.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Finds end zone in win

Coleman caught three of seven targets for 27 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 40-14 win over the Jets. Coleman led Buffalo in targets (7) and led all wideouts in playing time, finishing the game with a 90 percent snap share. The rookie's touchdown was his fourth trip to the end zone this season. With Buffalo clinching the No. 2 seed for the playoffs, Coleman may see less playing time in the season finale against the Patriots if head coach Sean McDermott decides to rest some of the team's key starters.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: One grab in Week 16

Coleman caught one of two targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 24-21 win over the Patriots. Coleman finished the contest with one catch on two targets for the second straight game. The rookie wideout was on the field for a solid 66 percent of the Bills' offensive snaps Sunday, a slight improvement over his 63 percent snap share in Week 15. As Coleman continues to work back from the wrist injury that caused him a four-week absence, it seems plausible that he'll begin to see more opportunities in Buffalo's passing attack. The Florida State product will look to bounce back in Week 17 when the Bills host the Jets in a divisional showdown.

  • Bills' Keon Coleman: Cleared to play Sunday

Head coach Sean McDermott noted Friday that Coleman (wrist) won't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Lions, Alec White of the Bills' official site reports. Coleman, who last played Week 9, was deemed a full participant in Wednesday's walkthrough, Thursday's practice estimate and finally in Friday's session. Now that he's been cleared to face Detroit, the rookie rejoins a Buffalo wideout corps that also includes Amari Cooper, Khalil Shakir, Mack Hollins and Curtis Samuel. With that in mind, it remains to be seen what sort of volume Coleman will see in his looming return, a context that makes the Florida State product a speculative Week 15 fantasy option. Prior to his injury, Coleman had a 22-417-3 line on 36 targets in nine games.
