The Lions waived Robichaux (foot) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Robichaux fractured his foot during the Lions' 16-14 preseason loss to the Bengals on Aug. 13. He was set to miss the entire 2026 season after reverting to injured reserve, but the settlement allows Robichaux to sign with a team once he's fully healthy.

The running back's dismissal is a good indication that he fractured his foot in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Bengals. Robichaux will now be placed on waivers and if he remains unclaimed he will revert to the Lions' injured reserve. Once on injured reserve, Robichaux will miss the entirety of the 2026 regular season unless he is waived with an injury settlement.
