  Washington signed Moore to its practice squad Wednesday. The Commanders waived Moore from their injured reserve list with an injury settlement shortly after their regular-season debut, but he has now recovered from that undisclosed injury and is back with the club following Week 6. Washington already has four healthy tight ends on its active roster, so Moore's path to regular-season action is not clear at this point.

  Washington hosted Moore for a visit Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. The Commanders waived Moore from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Sept. 9. It appears he is ready to get back on the field, though it's unknown how close both sides are to an agreement.

  The Commanders waived Moore (undisclosed) from injured reserve Wednesday with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Moore reverted to the Commanders' injured reserve Aug. 31 after clearing waivers. The tight end reached an injury settlement with the team to attempt to play again in 2026. Moore is now a free agent and will be able to sign with another organization as soon as he recovers from his undisclosed injury.

  Moore (undisclosed) reverted to the Commanders' injured-reserve list Monday, per the NFL's transaction log. Moore cleared waivers after being waived/injured by the Commanders on Sunday. The tight end will now spend the entirety of the 2026 regular season on IR unless he is waived with an injury settlement.
