Drew Plitt: Signs back on with Cincinnati
The Bengals signed Plitt to the practice squad Monday.
Plitt went undrafted out of Ball State earlier this year and spent part of the offseason with the Bengals. With Joe Burrow (wrist) done for the season, Plitt gives the team another quarterback behind Jake Browning and AJ McCarron.

Drew Plitt: Waived by Bengals
Plitt was waived by the Bengals on Tuesday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Plitt was signed by the Bengals in late July when Joe Burrow (appendix) was forced to be away from the team, but Plitt will now look for another opportunity. Wherever the rookie ends up, he'll likely open the season on the practice squad.
