  • Daelin Hayes: Reaches injury settlement

The 49ers waived Hayes (undisclosed) off injured reserve with an injury settlement Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Hayes was set to miss the 2023 season after reverting to the 49ers' injured reserve list on Aug. 13. Now that a settlement has been reached, Hayes can seek opportunities elsewhere once he recovers from his injury.

  • 49ers' Daelin Hayes: Gets chance in San Francisco

Hayes has signed a one-year contract with the 49ers, Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Less than one week after getting waived by the Ravens, Hayes has found a new opportunity in San Francisco. He missed the entire 2022 season due to an undisclosed reason, so the 2021 fifth-round pick is looking to make up for lost time. He will compete for a depth linebacker role with the 49ers.

  • Daelin Hayes: Let go Monday

Hayes was waived by the Ravens on Monday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports. Hayes' time in Baltimore was marred by injuries, which included missing the entire 2022 campaign due to an undisclosed injury. A fifth-round selection in the 2021 Draft, Hayes played just one game in his two seasons with the Ravens. He'll now seek a chance elsewhere.

  • Ravens' Daelin Hayes: Placed on injured reserve

Hayes (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Monday. Hayes suffered an ankle injury in Sunday's win over the Lions, and he'll be forced to miss at least three weeks as a result. Hayes didn't suit up in either of the first two weeks of the season and played just four snaps in Sunday's game.

  • Ravens' Daelin Hayes: Doubtful to return Sunday

Hayes (ankle) is doubtful to return to Sunday's contest against the Ravens. Hayes was inactive for the first two weeks of the season, but with the Ravens dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak, he was forced into action during Week 3. After being helped off the field, he was carted to the locker room, so he is likely done for the day.
