Wood (hamstring) did not appear on the Saints' injury report Wednesday.
Wood was dealing with a hamstring injury during the preseason but he appears to have recovered from it. The 32-year-old is set to operate as the team's long snapper in Sunday's regular-season opener against Arizona.

Wood (hamstring) didn't participate in New Orleans' practice Tuesday, Katherine Terrell of ESPN reports.
Wood had signed a contract extension with the Saints in July but is now sidelined with an injury. He is currently the only long snapper on the team's roster, so they could be forced to look elsewhere should Wood be forced to miss extended time.

The extension has Wood under contract with New Orleans through the 2027 season. The 30-year-old long snapper first signed with the Saints in 2017 and has been on the team ever since.

The Saints re-signed Wood to a one-year deal Tuesday, Herbie Teope of The Times-Picayune reports. "I'm very excited," Wood said Tuesday. "This is where I want to be. I've grown to love this team and love the guys that I play with and I couldn't be more happy with where I am."
Wood signed a one-year deal with the Saints last season after spending time with the Cowboys previously. He played in all 16 games and logged 151 snaps on special teams as the Saints produced one of the top kicking units in 2017.
