  • John Reid: Finds work in Atlanta

The Falcons signed Reid to their practice squad Tuesday. Reid is now slated to serve as one of Atlanta's emergency depth options following Tuesday's transaction. The 2020 fourth-round draft pick suffered a groin strain earlier this year during the Seahawks' training camp, and he was subsequently placed on IR and eventually let go by Seattle in October. Now that Reid's back in action, it can be assumed that the groin issue is behind him.

  • Seahawks' John Reid: Suffers groin strain

Reid is dealing with a groin strain, Curtis Crabtree of Sports Radio 950 KJR Seattle reports. It's unclear when he suffered the injury, but Reid is currently sidelined with a groin injury. The cornerback played in 11 games for the Seahawks last season, registering 12 tackles and deflecting two passes.

  • Seahawks' John Reid: Out for Sunday

Reid (concussion) is out for Sunday against the Cardinals, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Reid left early in Week 17 against the Lions with the injury. He'll now turn his focus to the 2022 season, and Bless Austin may see extra opportunity Sunday against Arizona.

  • Seahawks' John Reid: Leaves with injury

Reid (head) is being evaluated for a concussion and is questionable to return Sunday against the Lions, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Reid has worked his way up the Seahawks' positional depth chart the last couple of weeks, drawing the start Sunday with Sidney Jones in COVID protocols. If Reid is unable to return, Mike Jackson will continue to see extra opportunity.

  • Seahawks' John Reid: Full participant Wednesday

Reid (knee) was listed as a full participant for the Seahawks' practice Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Reid has played in only two games so far this season after getting promoted from Seattle's practice squad early in September. The cornerback has played a majority of his snaps this season on special teams, so expect Reid to continue to fill a depth role for Seattle's secondary.

  • Seahawks' John Reid: Not playing Monday

Reid (knee) is inactive for Monday's game versus New Orleans. Reid was questionable for Monday's contest but won't be available due to the shoulder injury. The 25-year-old has been a healthy scratch for all but two games this season, so he may not have suited up even if fully healthy.

  • Texans' John Reid: Won't travel to Windy City

Reid (neck) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Bears. The rookie fourth-round pick will be inactive for the second time this season. Through 11 games, Reid has mostly contributed on special teams, but his absence will deplete the team's secondary depth, as the Texans also will be without Phillip Gaines (knee/shoulder) and Bradley Robey (suspension).
