  • 49ers' Brett Toth: Absent with concussion

Toth (concussion) was absent from Thursday's training camp session, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports. Toth suffered a concussion in Week 18 of the 2025 season. Another head injury for the backup center is not a good sign, and the team will likely want to be especially cautious with his recovery. Drake Nugent may see more reps at center in Toth's absence.

Toth (concussion) agreed to terms Tuesday on a one-year contract with the 49ers, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. • Eagles' Brett Toth: Won't play Sunday

Toth (concussion), who was originally listed as questionable for Sunday's wild-card matchup against the 49ers, has been downgraded to out. • Eagles' Brett Toth: Returns from hamstring injury

Toth (hamstring) participated in Tuesday's practice session, John McMullen of SI.com reports. Toth has not participated in practice since July 24 due to what was reported at the time as a toe injury. His return to practice Tuesday was a welcome one, as the Eagles are dealing with multiple injuries to their offensive line, including left guard Landon Dickerson (leg) and right guard Tyler Steen (ankle). Toth is battling for a depth spot on the offensive line, and participating in practice increases his chances of making the 53-man roster.

  • Eagles' Brett Toth: Dealing with toe injury

Toth missed Wednesday's practice with a toe issue, Jimmy Kempski of PhillyVoice.com reports. The Army product came over to Philadelphia after being let go by Carolina in early December of last year. He spent time with the Eagles from 2020-2021 as well, appearing in 17 games and making one start. Toth is likely fighting for a depth role on the Eagles' offensive line, so this injury could put his chances of making the 53-man roster at risk.
