  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Seven tackles in Week 4 win

White logged seven solo tackles during the Bills' 31-19 win over the Saints on Sunday. White played 51 of 67 defensive snaps Sunday and led the Bills in tackles. The veteran corner missed Buffalo's first game of the regular season and was limited in Week 2 due to a groin injury, but he has seen the field far more over the Bills' last two games. The 2017 first-rounder is up to 15 tackles (14 solo) and two pass defenses across three games to start the year.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Records five stops in Week 3

White totaled five tackles (four solo) and a defensed pass in a 31-21 win over Miami on Thursday. One of White's tackles went for a loss, as he took down Jaylen Waddle for a loss of three yards on a passing play in the third quarter. White was on the field for every one of the Bills' defensive snaps in the victory after missing Week 1 due to a groin injury and logging just 55 percent of the team's defensive snaps in Week 2.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Good to go Sunday

White (groin) is active for Sunday's game against the Jets, Chris Brown of the Bills Radio Network reports. The cornerback was a limited participant in practice in the week leading up to this contest after missing Buffalo's Week 1 win over the Ravens. With rookie first-round pick Maxwell Hairston (knee) still on IR, White should step forward into a starting role Sunday. The veteran re-signed with the Bills in the offseason on a one-year deal after spending the 2024 season with the Ravens and Rams.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Questionable after limited practice

White (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jets. White was a limited participant in all three of Buffalo's practices leading up to the team's Week 2 road game against the Jets. If the veteran cornerback gets the green light to make his season debut Sunday, White would likely be thrust into a prominent role immediately in a banged-up Bills secondary.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Limited Wednesday

White (groin) was limited in practice Wednesday. White didn't practice in any capacity prior to being ruled inactive for Week 1, so his limited activity Wednesday represents a tangible step in the right direction. With rookie first-round pick Maxwell Hairston (knee) on IR and out until at least Week 5, White will provide a significant boost to Buffalo's cornerback corps when back on the field. He'll have two more chances to upgrade to full practice reps ahead of Sunday's road game against the Jets.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Inactive for SNF

White (groin) is inactive for Sunday night's game against the Ravens. White was listed as doubtful after racking up three DNPs during the week, so this was the expectation for the veteran cornerback. With Maxwell Hairston (knee) also out for Buffalo, the Bills will be forced to dip down their cornerback depth chart against Baltimore, giving additional reps to Ja'Marcus Ingram, Dorian Strong and perhaps Brandon Codrington.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Doubtful for Sunday night

White (groin) is doubtful for Sunday night's game against the Ravens. White didn't practice at all this week and doesn't appear to be particularly close to returning to the field after initially getting injured in late August. The good news for Buffalo is that fellow corner Christian Benford (groin) practiced fully Thursday and Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation into Week 1.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Still not practicing

White (groin) won't practice Friday, per head coach Sean McDermott, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. White hasn't practiced at all leading up to Buffalo's season opener against the Ravens on Sunday, but McDermott said it's too early to rule anybody out for the Bills. Still, White seems more likely than not to sit out Week 1, which would leave the Bills shorthanded in the secondary since rookie first-round pick Maxwell Hairston (knee) is on IR to begin the year.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Dealing with groin injury

White did not participate in Wednesday's practice due to a groin injury. White was diagnosed with a lower-body injury toward the end of training camp, but the veteran corner appears to be dealing with a groin issue. His practice participation over the next two days will provide clarity on his status heading into the Bills' regular-season opener against the Ravens on Sunday. The Bills may have to turn to Taron Johnson, Dorian Strong and Ja'Marcus Ingram to slide in at outside corner if White and Christian Benford (groin) are unable to play.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Misses Wednesday's practice

White (lower leg) didn't practice Wednesday, Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports. White is now in jeopardy of missing the Bills' Week 1 affair against the Ravens, as he hasn't practiced since sustaining a lower leg injury in late August. The veteran corner's practice participation Thursday and Friday likely will provide a better indication of whether he can suit up Sunday. Buffalo's secondary is already plagued with injuries, as Christian Benford (undisclosed) and Maxwell Hairston (knee) are also banged up heading into Week 1.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Dealing with lower-leg injury

Coach Sean McDermott said Saturday that White recently underwent an MRI for a lower-leg injury, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports. White played 19 defensive snaps in the Bills' preseason opener back on Aug. 9 but didn't appear in either of the next two exhibitions. Bills general manager Brandon Beane said there is no timeline for White's return. Buffalo is already without first-round rookie cornerback Maxwell Hairston after he injured his knee early in training camp. Hairston has yet to return to practice and remains "a ways away" from beginning a ramping up process, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reported Tuesday.

  • Ravens' Tre'Davious White: Headed for free agency

White made 10 tackles (seven solo) and three pass breakups across seven regular-season appearances with the Ravens in 2024. He also suited up for four regular-season games with the Rams, making 12 tackles (nine solo) and two pass breakups. White, who recently celebrated his 30th birthday, is set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason. The veteran cornerback has endured numerous serious injuries since 2021, including two ACL tears and a torn Achilles, but he managed to stay relatively healthy in 2024 en route to 11 combined regular-season appearances while also suiting up for both of Baltimore's playoff games.

  • Ravens' Tre'Davious White: Questionable to play Houston

White (shoulder) was a limited participant in Tuesday's practice and is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Texans. White didn't participate in the first two walkthroughs of the week due to a shoulder injury he likely picked up during the Ravens' 34-17 win over the Steelers this past Saturday. With Jalyn Armour-Davis (hamstring) already ruled out for Christmas Day, T.J. Tampa would serve as the backup outside corner behind Nate Wiggins and Brandon Stephens if White is not cleared to play.

  • Ravens' Tre'Davious White: Active for Week 11

White will play in Sunday's tilt against Pittsburgh, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports. Baltimore acquired White in a trade with the Rams on Nov. 5, but the veteran cornerback was a healthy scratch for the Ravens' Week 10 Thursday game against Cincinnati since it came just two days after he joined the team. White has since had enough time to get familiar with the team's defensive playbook and will see his first action as a Raven on Sunday. It's not clear how much work he'll get, though, as he's set for a rotational role with Baltimore.

  • Ravens' Tre'Davious White: Won't see action Thursday

White (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's Week 10 battle against the Bengals. White was acquired by the Ravens on Tuesday, which gave him very little time to learn the team's defensive playbook given the Thursday night contest. White's team debut is likely to come Sunday, Nov. 17 against Pittsburgh. When he is ready to take the field for the Ravens, White will likely serve in a rotational role in the secondary.

  • Ravens' Tre'Davious White: Unlikely to play versus Bengals

White is not expected to play Thursday versus Cincinnati, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. No health issue has been reported, so it's probably the case that White, who was traded to Baltimore on Tuesday, just didn't have enough time to learn the intricacies of the Ravens' defensive scheme. His next chance to play would come in Week 11 at Pittsburgh.

  • Rams' Tre'Davious White: Given permission to seek trade

Head coach Sean McVay told reporters Monday that the Rams have given White permission to seek a trade, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. White has been a healthy scratch in each of the Rams' last two games, so it's no surprise he wants out of Los Angeles. The 29-year-old cornerback has struggled in coverage this season, allowing almost 15 yards per completion and four touchdowns through four games. Cobie Durant and Josh Wallace are expected to remain the Rams' top outside cornerbacks while White and his agent seek a trade suitor.

  • Rams' Tre'Davious White: Inactive again for Week 7

White (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. White was a healthy scratch for the Rams' Week 5 loss to the Packers and will remain on the sideline, even with Los Angeles coming out of its bye week. After a laundry list of lower-body injuries in his career, the 29-year-old White hasn't looked capable of keeping up with NFL wide receivers in coverage.

  • Rams' Tre'Davious White: Won't suit up Sunday

White (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers, Wyatt Miller of the Rams' official site reports. White started each of the Rams' first four games, recording 12 tackles and two pass defenses. However, it appears he's been benched, so Darious Williams, Ahkello Witherspoon and Josh Wallace are candidates for increased roles versus Green Bay.

  • Rams' Tre'Davious White: Making good recovery progress

Coach Sean McVay said during June minicamp that White (Achilles) is "making good progress" but is uncertain for the start of training camp in late July, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. White is currently working his way back from a right Achilles' tendon tear that cut his 2023 season short in October, and in 2022 he only suited up for six games before suffering a torn ACL. Since signing a one-year deal with the Rams, White has spent most of the offseason working off to the side with trainers, but he was reportedly able to participate in walkthroughs during the final week of OTAs. The 29-year-old figures to start at cornerback when he's healthy, but it remains to be seen whether he'll be ready to practice by the start of training camp, or to play a full share of snaps Week 1.
