• Cardinals' Kylie Fitts: Lands on injured reserve

Fitts was unable to practice this week and will predictably sit out as a result. The 26-year-old is expected to start at outside linebacker moving forward with Chandler Jones (biceps) on injured reserve, but for the time being, Dennis Gardeck (foot) likely will take over if he's healthy.

  The Bears waived Fitts on Friday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports. Fitts played in six games as a rookie last year, working both on defense and special teams. The Bears have a deep linebacker corps after adding Kevin Pierre-Louis and Josh Woods this offseason, and those two acquisitions pushed Fitts off of the 53-man roster.
