Steelers' Elandon Roberts: Returns to Pittsburgh
Roberts and the Steelers agreed on a one-year contract Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Roberts will return to the Steelers after spending the 2023 and 2024 campaigns with the team before recording 90 total tackles (42 solo), a fumble recovery and a pass defensed over 17 regular-season contests with Las Vegas last season. The 32-year-old will provide Pittsburgh with another veteran reserve option behind Payton Wilson and Patrick Queen at inside linebacker in 2026.

Raiders' Elandon Roberts: Tallies 90 tackles in 2025
Roberts ended his 2025 campaign with 90 total tackles (42 solo), including six tackles for loss, one pass defensed and a fumble recovery across 17 games.
Roberts was credited with 16 starts for the Raiders this season, ranking fourth among his teammates in tackles while playing 58 percent of the defensive snaps. However, he posted double-digit stops in just one of 17 contests, and Roberts will turn 32 years old in April as he enters free agency.

Raiders' Elandon Roberts: Massive performance in blowout loss
Roberts finished Sunday's 31-0 loss to the Chiefs with 18 tackles (seven solo), including one stop for a loss.
Roberts was on the field for 75 of 81 defensive snaps (92.6 percent) and joined three other Raiders defenders in registering double-digit stops. His 18 tackles were the most of his 10-year NFL career and just the sixth time he has logged double-digit tackles in a game. Roberts is up to 40 stops through seven regular-season games, and he should surpass his total from the 2024 campaign (46 tackles across 17 regular-season games) as a member of the Steelers.

Raiders' Elandon Roberts: Returns to limited practice Friday
Roberts (elbow) was a limited practice participant Friday.
Roberts was held out of practice Thursday due to an elbow issue but was able to log a limited session Friday. The injury occurred in Las Vegas' Week 1 win over New England, and Roberts was removed from the contest after logging just 11 defensive snaps. Roberts' limited practice Friday provides hope that he may be able to suit up Monday against the Chargers, but if he's unable to go, Tommy Eichenberg would likely get a start at linebacker.
