Chase Roullier: Announces retirement

Roullier (knee) announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports. Roullier, a sixth-round pick in 2017, started 63 games over six campaigns with Washington. However, he battled a number injuries over the past two years and missed all of last season after undergoing knee surgery in October.

Roullier (knee) is being released by the Commanders on Friday, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports. Roullier missed the entirety of the 2022 season after he underwent knee surgery in October and he will now look for a new team. The center will likely operate in a reserve role wherever he ends up.
