It sounds like the starting guard can be considered on track for Week 1 against the Packers on Sunday, Sep. 7, though it remains to be seen whether he'll be cleared in time for Saturday's preseason finale against the Texans.

Glasgow was one of a handful of cap casualties for Denver on Friday, and his release will save the team $11 million. The 2016 third-round pick was with the Broncos for the last three seasons after spending his first four NFL campaigns in Detroit. His versatility should make his an interesting option in free agency this summer.
