Langeliers went 2-for-3 with two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Saturday's victory over the Orioles.
Langeliers opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first inning before driving in another run with a sacrifice fly in the fifth frame. It was another strong effort for the catcher, who currently owns a 10-game hitting streak that includes seven multi-hit performances. Overall, Langeliers has built on his breakout 2025 campaign with massive numbers through 35 contests in 2026, slashing .340/.391/.626 with 11 homers, nine doubles, 22 RBI and 28 runs scored.

Athletics' Shea Langeliers: Celebrates return with long ball
Langeliers went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in a 12-1 rout of the Phillies on Thursday.
Langeliers missed three games this week to be with his wife for the birth of the couple's child, but he didn't accumulate any rust during his absence. The talented backstop proved that quickly when he took Philadelphia pitcher Andrew Painter deep for a two-run homer in the first frame. Langeliers later added a single and has now posted six multi-hit performance over his past eight contests. He's been smoking hot over that stretch, batting .459 (17-for-37) with three homers, five doubles, six RBI and eight runs scored.

The Athletics activated Langeliers from the paternity list Thursday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
Langeliers was away from the club for a few days while welcoming a new addition to the family, but he's back in time for Thursday's series finale in Philadelphia. Austin Wynns has been designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Both long balls came off Slade Cecconi, a two-run blast in the first inning and a solo shot in the fifth, but it wasn't enough on an awful afternoon for the A's pitching staff. Langeliers came out of the gate mashing this season with five homers in his first six contests, but he cooled off quickly. He had gone 10 contests without a long ball prior to Wednesday, batting .250 with two doubles, two RBI and 15 strikeouts in that span. The catcher is now hitting .304 with a .960 OPS, six homers, 12 RBI, 11 runs scored and no stolen bases over 17 games this season. He should continue to see steady playing time between catcher and designated hitter as one of the Athletics' most productive bats.
