Athletics' Henry Bolte: Logs eighth steal
Bolte went 1-for-3 with a walk, one RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's 9-7 loss to the Angels.
Bolte has logged three steals on four attempts over his last six games. He's just 5-for-19 (.263) at the plate in that span, though he's added a respectable 5:8 BB:K. For the season, the outfielder is batting .315 with an .814 OPS, eight steals, two home runs, 10 RBI, 11 runs scored and five doubles over 36 contests.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Swats second homer
Bolte went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 12-4 loss to the Pirates.
After seeing a seven-game hitting streak snapped Tuesday while striking out three times, Bolte went deep in the seventh inning Wednesday for his second homer of June. The outfielder is hitting .310 with an .801 OPS, two homers, eight RBI, 11 runs scored, five doubles and six stolen bases over 32 contests this year. Bolte hit for modest power in the minors, aside from earlier this year when he clubbed 12 homers in 37 games for Triple-A Las Vegas prior to his call-up to the majors. His contact skills have been better than expected early in his big-league career, though he still has a 29.2 percent strikeout rate.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Resting up in series finale
Bolte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
The Athletics will hand Bolte a day off in the series finale after the rookie went 6-for-19 with a home run, a stolen base, two walks and two additional runs while starting in each of the team's last five games. Lawrence Butler will step in for Bolte in center field and will bat leadoff.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Goes yard in win
Bolte went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Brewers.
It took 25 games, but Bolte now has the first homer of his career. He went deep in the second inning off Milwaukee starter Robert Gasser. Bolte has maintained a steady bat in June, going 8-for-26 (.308) this month, albeit with a 1:14 BB:K. The outfielder is hitting .295 with a .756 OPS, seven RBI, seven runs scored, four stolen bases and four doubles through his first 89 plate appearances. Bolte carries a .440 BABIP and a 31.5 percent strikeout rate, both of which are indicators of regression, as the swing-and-miss problem will be more apparent if his hitting luck dries up.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Not in Sunday's lineup
Bolte is not in the Athletics' starting lineup against the Astros on Sunday.
Bolte will take a seat after going 3-for-6 with one double, one walk and three strikeouts over the first two games of the series. Lawrence Butler will start in center field for Sunday's contest.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Logs three hits in loss
Bolte went 3-for-4 with a double in Friday's loss against the Astros.
Bolte stood out as the only player on the Athletics to log multiple hits as the offense was stifled in the series-opening loss. The rookie has tallied back-to-back multi-hit games and six such efforts this season. His home-run power has yet to emerge, but Bolte has more than held his own through 73 big-league plate appearances, slashing .328/.397/.391 with four doubles, five RBI, five runs and four stolen bases.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Relegated to bench Sunday
Bolte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.
After going 0-for-4 with three strikeouts in addition to committing an error in Saturday's 6-4 win, Bolte will head to the bench in the series finale. Lawrence Butler will replace Bolte as the Athletics' starting center fielder Sunday.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Racks up three hits
Bolte went 3-for-4 in Friday's 8-2 loss to the Yankees.
Bolte wasn't able to generate any runs, but he did his part at the plate. The outfielder's three hits were a new career high in a single game after he logged a trio of two-hit efforts in his first 14 contests. He's batting .319 with a .762 OPS, four RBI, three runs scored, two doubles and four stolen bases through 55 plate appearances, but he's still searching for his first big-league homer. There's still some long-term swing-and-miss concern, but he's struck out at a modest 20.0 percent rate so far in the majors while making enough contact to emerge as a starting option in center field.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Sitting after four straight starts
Bolte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.
After being called up from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday, Bolte started the past four games and went 5-for-13 with a walk, a stolen base and two RBI. The 22-year-old is one of the organization's top prospects and should get a fair amount of run while up with the big club. However, it'll be Lawrence Butler in center field and Carlos Cortes in right for Sunday's series finale.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Pair of hits in debut
Bolte started in center field and went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a walk in Wednesday's 6-2 victory over the Cardinals.
Bolte had an eventful big-league debut, tallying a pair of hits on groundballs to third base, one of which Nolan Gorman whiffed on in the second inning and the other being one Bolte legged out for an infield single in the fourth frame. Bolte's lone out was still a productive one, as he lifted a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning for his first career RBI while also extending the Athletics' lead. The 22-year-old's promotion to the majors Tuesday came on the heels of a blistering stretch with Triple-A Las Vegas, where he posted an 1.076 OPS with 12 homers, 28 RBI, 41 runs and 17 stolen bases across 37 appearances. One of the organization's top prospects, Bolte should receive his fair share of opportunities in Sacramento, particularly in center field and against left-handed pitching.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Added to major-league roster
The Athletics selected Bolte's contract from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.
Bolte was off to a scorching-hot start at Las Vegas, slashing .348/.418/.658 with 12 home runs and 17 stolen bases across 177 plate appearances. The 22-year-old outfielder can handle all three outfield spots and could push the struggling Lawrence Butler (.179/.278/.282) for playing time in center field.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Moving up to big leagues
The Athletics are expected to call up Bolte from Triple-A Las Vegas ahead of Tuesday's game against the Cardinals, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.
With shortstop Jacob Wilson suffering a shoulder sprain in Sunday's loss to the Orioles that could send him to the injured list, Bolte looks like he could end up being promoted in a corresponding move to fill the open roster spot. Though he won't be a potential replacement option at shortstop for Wilson, Bolte could push the struggling Lawrence Butler (.560 OPS in 133 plate appearances) for regular playing time in the outfield. The 22-year-old Bolte has been one of the Pacific Coast League's hottest hitters through the first month and a half of the season, slashing .348/.418/.658 with 12 home runs and 17 stolen bases across 177 plate appearances.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: Draws praise from manager
Bolte went 2-for-3 with a run scored in Sunday's Cactus League win over the Reds.
Bolte collected a pair of singles as part of a strong offensive showing for the Athletics on Sunday. Following the game, manager Mark Kotsay said, "There's a lot of us in that coaches' room that think [Bolte] has the ability to be a real star. He continues to make progress each year, both on the physicality side and the baseball side of just being a better hitter," Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports. Kotsay added, "The tools, the talent and the ability all align with this kid having an impact in our organization, hopefully sooner than later." Bolte is likely to open the season at Triple-A Las Vegas, but the 22-year-old earning a call-up at some point in 2026 appears to be a very realistic possibility.

Bolte (undisclosed) is 7-for-21 with seven RBI and four runs scored in five games since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list.

Athletics' Henry Bolte: On IL at Double-A
Double-A Midland placed Bolte on the 7-day injured list June 30 with an undisclosed injury.
A righty-hitting outfielder with plus-plus speed and plus raw power, Bolte is repeating Double-A after logging a 38.8 percent strikeout rate in 54 games there in 2024. Prior to his injury, he was slashing .274/.377/.423 with seven home runs, 31 steals and a 26.9 percent strikeout rate in 75 games. His contact rate at Double-A is up from 60.9 percent in 2024 to 69.3 percent this year, so while he has improved, Bolte still projects to strike out a lot at the highest level.
