Darcy Kuemper G | LA
Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Takes overtime loss
Kuemper stopped 30 of 32 shots in Saturday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Golden Knights.
Kuemper put in a good performance, but the Golden Knights' power play cashed in twice, and that was the difference. The 36-year-old is still searching for his first win of the year, opening with a 0-2-1 record and 12 goals allowed on 91 shots over three starts. The Kings have another tough matchup ahead when they host the red-hot Oilers on Tuesday.

Matthew Murray G | NSH
Predators' Matt Murray: Makes 18 saves in shootout loss
Murray stopped 18 of 20 shots in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Senators.
Murray helped protect a 2-0 first-period lead before conceding a power-play goal to Tim Stutzle in the second. He remained steady for much of the third period, but Drake Batherson tied the contest with 1:23 remaining in regulation, and the Senators would eventually win the game in the shootout. Despite the loss, he delivered a respectable performance. He should remain Nashville's No. 2 goaltender until Justus Annunen (undisclosed) is ready to return, and when that happens, Murray will likely head back to AHL Milwaukee. Given his role, Murray shouldn't carry a ton of fantasy appeal outside of specific matchup-based scenarios.

Mark Stone RW | LV
Golden Knights' Mark Stone: Supplies pair of power-play helpers
Stone notched two power-play assists in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings.
Stone has earned all four of his assists this season while on the power play. The 34-year-old winger is cruising to begin the campaign, earning a total of seven points, 14 shots on net, 10 hits, six blocked shots, nine PIM and a plus-6 rating over six appearances. Stone is on the top line and first power-play unit, and he should be a fixture in fantasy lineups as long as he can stay healthy.

Trevor Connelly LW | LV
Golden Knights' Trevor Connelly: Two power-play points in win
Connelly scored a goal six shots and added an assist, both on the power play, in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings.
While Connelly is in the middle six at even strength, he's worked his way up to the first power-play unit. That's where he made noise Saturday, scoring the opening goal and assisting on Mitch Marner's game-winner. Connelly has two goals, two assists, 15 shots on net and a minus-1 rating across six contests to begin his rookie year. His overall usage is still a bit light, but the 20-year-old winger is producing, which should at least put him on the radar in fantasy.

Linus Ullmark G | OTT
Senators' Linus Ullmark: Earns SO win Saturday
Ullmark stopped 16 of 18 shots in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Predators.
Ullmark endured a difficult opening period, surrendering goals to Ross Colton and Jonathan Marchessault as Nashville established a 2-0 lead. However, the veteran netminder settled down and kept the Predators scoreless through the final two periods and overtime, allowing Ottawa to complete its comeback. Ullmark finished with an .889 save percentage and extended his strong start to the campaign. He's won each of his first four starts while allowing two or fewer goals each time. That translates to an impressive 81 saves on 86 shots faced -- good for a .941 save percentage.

Mitchell Marner RW | LV
Golden Knights' Mitch Marner: Seals win in overtime
Marner scored a goal on three shots and added an assist, both on the power play, in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings.
Marner's tally was the overtime winner as he cashed in from the slot. The 29-year-old picked up his first multi-point effort of the season in the process. Marner has two goals, three assists, 18 shots on net, four blocked shots, three hits and a minus-1 rating over six appearances this season. He's firmly in a top-six role and should be capable of hovering around at least a point-per-game pace.

Drake Batherson RW | OTT
Senators' Drake Batherson: Scores late equalizer against Nashville
Batherson scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and a takeaway in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Predators.
Batherson scored the game-tying goal with 1:23 remaining in regulation, helping Ottawa erase a 2-0 deficit and force overtime. His late contribution proved crucial in a contest where the Senators managed just 18 shots on goal, and Ottawa ultimately completed the comeback in the shootout. Batherson went pointless in the season opener but has cracked the scoresheet in three of his last four games, tallying three goals and one assist over that span. He should remain productive as long as he remains in a top-six role, particularly if he skates alongside Tim Stutzle.

Auston Matthews C | TOR
Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Four-point outburst extends streak
Matthews scored twice and had two assists in Saturday's 6-3 win over Colorado.
It was Matthews' 84th multi-goal game to move within one of tying Joe Mullen (85) for the third most in NHL history among U.S.-born players. After being held scoreless in his first two games, Matthews has gone on a four-game rip with four goals, six assists and 17 shots. There are two, four-point outbursts in that span. His 10 points put him into a tie for fifth overall in the NHL. Matthews is back, hockey lovers -- this season is going to be a great ride.

Carter Hart G | LV
Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Nabs overtime win
Hart allowed one goal on 27 shots in Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings.
This was Hart's best start of the season, and it had to be as the Golden Knights posted their lowest goal total of the campaign. The 28-year-old did his part, and goals by Trevor Connelly and Mitch Marner did the rest. Hart is 3-1-0 with nine goals allowed on 100 shots over his four outings this season. He'll continue to be the Golden Knights' top goalie as long as the results stay positive. Up next is a road back-to-back with stops in Minnesota on Monday and in Nashville on Tuesday, which will likely lead to Hart and Adin Hill splitting the next two games.

Tim Stutzle LW | OTT
Senators' Tim Stutzle: Records two points against Nashville
Stutzle scored a power-play goal, added an even-strength assist and recorded three shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Predators.
Stutzle was involved in both of Ottawa's goals, finding the twine at the 9:29 mark of the second period and assisting on Drake Batherson's late equalizer in the third frame with only 1:23 left in regulation. His heavy workload reflected his importance to Ottawa's attack, and he remained a consistent offensive presence despite the Senators generating just 18 shots on goal. Stutzle has enjoyed an excellent start to the season, cracking the scoresheet in four of his first five games and racking up eight points (four goals, four assists) so far.
