  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Fends off Toronto

Vejmelka stopped 22 of 26 shots in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Maple Leafs.

It was far from his best performance of the season, but the Mammoth gave Vejmelka enough of a cushion to work with. The 30-year-old netminder has gone 4-1-0 on the year, adding a 2.46 GAA and an .895 save percentage across six games (five starts). He's a better target for wins than ratios in fantasy. Vejmelka and the Mammoth will have their hands full for the rest of the week as they tangle with the Oilers in a home-and-home set that begins in Edmonton on Thursday.

  • Flyers' Christian Dvorak: Goal in back-to-back games

Dvorak notched a goal Tuesday in a 3-2 shootout loss to Seattle.

Dvorak now has a goal in back-to-back games, but they're his first two snipes of the season. He has one assist to add to the mix in eight games. Dvorak needs to fire more pucks at the net -- he has recorded just nine this season (22.2 percent), which is light even for a playmaker like him. Last year, he ripped 151. Dvorak is skating on the Flyers top line, but he's far better suited in the middle six, excelling as a shutdown pivot on line three. So far, his magic chemistry with Trevor Zegras from last season has dried up, and the Flyers have set an all-time low with eight losses to start the season. Bench him or cast him aside. He'll hang like an anchor around your neck.

  • Owen Martin C | WPG

Jets' Owen Martin: Two of each Tuesday

Martin scored twice and added two assists in WHL Spokane's 7-1 win over Everett on Tuesday.

Martin didn't make his season debut until Oct. 2, and it took a little time for him to get into a groove. He's there now, with eight points over five contests, including six points over his last two. The Jets prospect has yet to sign his entry-level deal, leaving his options open for 2027-28 as he continues his development.

  • Senators' Fabian Zetterlund: Cuts big deficit with goal

Zetterlund scored a power-play goal and fired four shots on net in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to the Blues.

Zetterlund refused to bow out of Tuesday's landslide loss without a fight, as he tallied a power-play goal with just under 90 seconds remaining in the contest. The goal was his first of the 2026-27 season, where he has compiled three points, 14 shots on net and 19 hits across seven games. While Zetterlund's ceiling in fantasy is slightly impacted by his role on the Senators' fourth line, he should continue to see time on the team's second power-play unit, which is a boost to his already solid value in deep banger leagues. Expect him to contend for 30 points once again in the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Claude Giroux RW | OTT

Senators' Claude Giroux: Deposits goal in loss

Giroux tallied a goal and put two shots on net in Tuesday's 7-2 loss to St. Louis.

Giroux tallied the lone goal of the first two periods for Ottawa, where he brought the team within one goal before things got out of hand. The 38-year-old forward's tally Tuesday was his first goal of the new season, where he now has five points, 10 shots on net, a plus-six rating and eight hits across seven appearances. He should remain heavily involved for the Senators from his spot on the team's secondary power-play unit and middle-six role at even strength. Expect the 19-year NHL veteran to challenge for the 50-point mark in the 2026-27 campaign after falling one point shy of the threshold a season ago. Giroux is currently a solid streaming option in deep, category-based fantasy leagues.

  • Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Finally gets first goal of season

Zegras scored a goal Tuesday in a 3-2 shootout loss to Seattle.

Ugh. This was his first goal of the season (one goal, two assists; eight games). Zegras parlayed last season's career-high 26-goal, 67-point outburst into a four-year, $36.5 million extension in the offseason. But Zegras has been a massive disappointment so far, and you need to have him on your bench until he ratchets up his effort and output.

  • Adam Jiricek D | STL

Blues' Adam Jiricek: Nets first NHL goal

Jiricek scored a goal and put three shots on net in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Senators.

Jiricek picked up the first goal of his NHL career deep into Tuesday's clash, as he rifled a shot from distance that beat Ottawa's Samuel Ersson with just under four minutes remaining in the third period. The 20-year-old Jiricek's goal was also his first career NHL point, and he currently has 12 shots on net, six hits and four blocked shots across six appearances. While the young blueliner is still adjusting to the NHL level, his goal Tuesday could spark his offensive production throughout the rest of his rookie campaign. If he continues to play alongside Philip Broberg on St. Louis' top pairing, Jiricek will be a solid stash in dynasty-based fantasy leagues moving forward.

  • Blues' Connor McMichael: Distributes two apples in win

McMichael recorded two assists in Tuesday's 7-2 win over Ottawa.

McMichael recorded his second multi-point game over the last four contests in Tuesday's clash, where he also picked up his first multi-assist outing in a Blues' jersey. After taking a step back offensively in the 2025-26 campaign with Washington, the 25-year-old center's change of scenery is paying off, as he's currently on a point-per-game pace through six outings. As long as he continues to see top-six minutes, McMichael holds solid streaming value in deep fantasy leagues that value points over category coverage.

  • Blues' Pavel Buchnevich: Slides trio of helpers Tuesday

Buchnevich distributed three assists, posted a plus-2 rating and had two blocked shots in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Senators.

Buchnevich secured his first three-assist performance Tuesday since March 23, 2024. The 31-year-old winger recorded one assist in each phase of the game Tuesday, where he posted a shorthanded helper in the first period, then an even-strength apple, and finally a power-play assist late in the third. Overall, he now has four assists, five points, a plus-3 rating and eight shots on net across six games. While Tuesday's win was a big step in the right direction for Buchnevich in becoming a regular fantasy option in standard formats once again, he's best viewed as a streaming option in deep leagues with his current role on the team's third line capping his ceiling.

  • Blues' Mason McTavish: Three points in landslide win

McTavish potted two goals, including a power-play tally, tallied an assist and launched six shots on net in Tuesday's 7-2 win over Ottawa.

McTavish grew his point streak to four games Tuesday with his best offensive showing with St. Louis thus far. His first goal of the night would stand as the game's go-ahead tally, but he was far from done scoring. Across 59 seconds late in the third period, he tallied a power-play goal and picked up a secondary helper to secure his first three-point game since Oct. 11, 2025. Across six appearances in the 2026-27 campaign, he's been excellent with four goals, seven points, 23 shots on net and 10 hits. It appears that a change of scenery was exactly what the 23-year-old center needed to get back on track, and if he continues to be a regular contributor to the offense from the Blues' second line, he could surpass the 50-point threshold for the second time in his six-year NHL career. For the time being, he's an excellent streaming option in all fantasy formats.
