Sourdif scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Sunday's 5-1 loss to the Wild.
Sourdif has two points over four games since he returned from an illness. The 24-year-old center was on a line with Alex Ovechkin and Anthony Beauvillier for Sunday's contest. The Capitals' forward lines are largely fluid in role with the depth of the team's roster. Sourdif has had a somewhat quiet start to the campaign with three points, 11 shots on net and 20 hits across 11 appearances.
