Spacek signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Wild on Thursday, per PuckPedia.
Spacek had seven goals and 36 points in 59 regular-season appearances with AHL Iowa in 2025-26. He also appeared in two regular-season outings with Minnesota last campaign, recording no points, no shots, one hit and two blocks. The 23-year-old defenseman will get a chance to compete for a roster spot during training camp, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him start the upcoming season in the minors.

Spacek played two games in the time he spent with the Wild, the first being his NHL debut. The 22-year-old didn't record a point, had a minus-1 rating, and posted one hit and two blocked shots in those two outings. He will head back to AHL Iowa, where he has three goals and 16 assists in 35 games.
